Good direction for the club I guess. Also certainly puts to bed the idea that Ashley was only doing a patch up job in order to sell on.

Its quiet. Too quiet.

I've really pissed on a hornet's nest now havent I? Jesus!

On a completely 'off-thread topic' note. Would love to have him back here like. World-class on his day. Loved watching him play last time.
-
OK if it helps, I'll let it be known that the information I posted before was based on something that I had read in a shitty tabloid. I mean it was common gossip on tyneside a while back. I mearly offering a possibility even stating it as dubious, and was clearly joking. I highly doubt anything could be taken into court over that.

This is the kind of player we need to be signing. Infact this is the kind of player I want to see us signing. Want to see us use some spending power. Get him in.
-
Please don't. I didn't know what I was doing. Something came over me. I blacked out and all of sudden I'd posted something. I was taken over by some other sentient being that likes to talk trash about Newcastle and all of its followings. Oh my god, I was taken over by the southern press. Jesus. I'm gonna have to go take the equivalent of a bleach bath for my soul. I am the unclean!

Ok. Just incase that last post came across as if I was being an arse about it, it wasn't meant to. Just worried about being banned now. :-[

Are you forgetting that Keegan has replaced Allardyce? Doesn't stop Keegan rating Barton and Butt, and it doesn't stop the fact that it appeared from the touchlines that Enrique and N'Zogbia weren't pressing as far forward as Keegan wanted against Bolton. But N'zogbia played more in the centre. If it was anyones fault we had no width down the left it was Duff's who kept drifting in, instead of sitting out on the wing.

Is it libellous to repeat something already read and quote it as dubious?
-
I honestly don't think its fair to judge either striker really. Look at the shit thats beeing called service for them. The ball is never played through the middle, we always just lose on the wings or some crap long ball. They are both players that definitely prefer the ball on the ground and quite simply thats not been happening for them. For me you gotta keep them both. Owen will come good if he gets a good run of games and gets the ball in and around his feet and infront of him. And Martins. Jesus its only his second season, he's only 22, ok he seems to be a bit psycho, but to get rid of him would be madness in my eyes. Surely he can only get better. Do we really want to sell a top prospect and then watch him become prolific for some other team. And once again, if we start playing football on the deck and through the middle (as well as out wide, I aint suggesting we forget that entirely) then he might look like he knows what going on.

Maybe Keegan plays FM, becuase this player is FM-tastically good.

Tynesides a lot like Seville when you think about it. Its like Englands equivalent to Seville. Take away the sun from Seville and the spanish of course and replace it with grey skies and geordies and you basically have Newcastle. In other words I doubt this will come off. However I could see the Garay link being true. The interest from us that is. Quality player. He's like 6ft 2 or something, looks massive, has pace, power, strength, and good aerial ability, seen him score a few good goals, not prolific, but pretty damn good for a centre half like.
-
The Garay and Navas thing was from a friend who is ITK. A bit tenuous I know, but he was the one who told me about Martins before everyone else. I can't see either happening, but rumours are always fun. Garay would be a fucking awesome signing like.
-
Garay from Racing Santander, and Jesus Navas from Sevilla apparently on the cards. Though I find it hard to believe, since Navas has homesickness so bad sometimes he has seizures.
-
He'd had a hair cut too. He looks dreamy!
-
I'm gonna have to go change my pants.
-
its not working aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
-
Both are targets bordering on unrealistic, but maybe just maybe it could happen.
-
Is he gonna fly onto the pitch in a roflcopter???
-
Give him all the money on tyneside I say!!!
-
OH MY GOD its true!!! This could either be awesome, or awesomely bad. But surely with money behind him then this has got to be better than the past 3 managers. The Geordie Messiah returns!!!
-
McClaren to be unveiled. Mass pitch invasion in attempt to kill ensues. Game called of, several players dead, several injured. Insane mob set fire to the stadium and eventually turns on the city finally driven insane by the mismanagement of their football club, they'd rather see it burn to the ground than have this doen to it!

linesman should be bum rushed
