  1. Honestly, what's with all the bed wetting? yeah I'd rather they didn't come up, I'd have liked to have seen their hopes dashed at the end there but come on, seriously, no matter when we play them next season, even at our lowest, there's zero chance they beat us home or away.
  2. The death of football, grim viewing
  3. Such a poor and dull game
  4. Just came in to post this, looking forward to the season ender, Wor Flags have had an epic season, well done to everyone involved @Heronyou guys are awesome!
  5. Put it this way, we either get our schadenfreude today or it gets delayed for a few months and we have a whole season of it. Sheffield United are the marginally better team but are, as said, serial bottlers so anything can happen today. Having said that whichever one gets promoted with have a long, hard, miserable season 25/26 getting hoofed every week, home and away. Those scruffy runts won't lay a glove on us in the league, insignificant.
  6. Only just got round to watching this now, how can anyone not love the guy? He has to retire here and captain this team to every trophy possible!
  7. Likelihood is they've already downed tools and have booked their holidays and even if they haven't and want to beat us "for Pickford", what's to say they're anywhere near good enough to stop us at St James'??
  8. Wasting a squad number on a Cheerleader is wild like
  9. When you think of Champions League being League Champions then it seems ridiculous to allow Spurs in, but it's not, it's a League OF Champions and they are Champions of Europe by merit, so have every right to be there too tbf.
  10. Absolutely this, who cares about a dead rubber between Palace and Liverpool, Palace can only finish 10-12th and they can pan over to Liverpool after the games have finished to watch them lift the trophy. The only thing being competed for this weekend is European places, show the teams battling it out surely?
  11. On the pitch, where it matters, we have and we have the momentum too
  12. I've never understood Spurs being one of the sly 6? They're hardly a paragon of success or a financial juggernaut, they've finished top 4 once in the last 5 years and until last night hadn't won anything in 16 years. We've already gone past them now, probably Man Utd and Chelsea too and on par with Arsenal with just Liverpool and Man City ahead of us, I'd say Villa are right on our tails too. The Sly 6 is done, no matter how much verbal falatio Sky put into them, its over for the traditional "big" clubs.
  13. Schadenfreude United and 90s me is here for it
  14. Out-bottled the perennial bottlers, some feat that ManU, hats off
  15. Should be an absolute stink fest of a game tonight, a real race to the bottom
  16. In a world of mercenaries and millions, Bruno stands out as a paragon of an endangered species of football players. He saw a wounded animal that could be terrifying and decided to nurse it to health and became the beating heart of this team. Loyal, fierce, talented , he's found where he truly belongs. How Bruno and our fans feel is reciprocated, he feels loved and like he belongs and in a time of multimillionaire footballers, he's found a job that's priceless. Bruno is here long after we've made winning silverware a habit.
  17. I'm sure when he sells the cafeterias cutlery to a sister company for £3b he can pad out his threadbare team a little bit more to make sure he keeps up with giants such as AZ Alkmaar who manage to navigate all their games this season.
  18. Welp that was pathetic from Bournemouth, likewise I've now turned it off. So 4 now vying for 4th and 5th place, at least we're still in the driving seat, would have been nice to finish 3rd though.
  19. Honestly it's all just speculation but I think we can all agree something is not quite right with Gordon and the sooner that is sorted one way or the other, the better, personal choice is that he's back firing on all cylinders for us next season. He's his own biggest critic so I'm sure he'll find a way through it with Howe.
  20. The Everton fans are desperate to beat us, but their players there's probably only Pickford that cares, a makeshift back line, the highest they can finish is 13th and the lowest is 14th, I'm not sure their players will care what happens in this game, I cannot see them putting up much of a challenge. An early goal and we walk this game.
  21. If Liverpool came back in for him with a £90m offer, what would people say?

    Joe Willock

Have to agree with consensus here, Willock has given us some great performances in the past and been an integral part of getting us where we are now. However, much like a few others in the squad such as Wilson, Longstaff, Target, etc... he's past his sell by date now and we need to recoup what we can to move forward. We're on the bring of something special, a few new starters and a reshaping of what's available from the bench and we could have a seriously good season 25/26 but a big part of that is moving on players like Willock.
