  1. Agree with this. I do think it's time to go though. The fact of the matter is we've been dreadful from the very start this season. A convincing case could be made for more or less every point we have on the board at the mo that we've been somewhat fortunate in the means by which we've achieved them. It's a complete waste of my hard earned going to watch this shower week in, week out. Don't go then. You cannot be asking for a change of manager after just two years, when the only full season he completed was our best season in a decade. Yes, the current results are sickening, particularly some of the performances but there was always going to be a drop-off from last season's over-achievements - lets see where we stand in all competitions come May before this ridiculous scenario of sacking managers comes into play. I've already coughed up for the ST though, pal. I'm entitled to voice my displeasure at the performances. As Bimpy mentioned in another thread, losing, I can just about take. It stinks, but it's part of the game. What I can't take is the gutless ineptitude on display from our manager from the word go this season, especially given the players we've had at our disposal. Even before the injuries to Cabaye and HBA we've looked like a fucking pub team. No ideas, same set pieces, no changes. Have our expectations been raised since last season? Yes, but not unreasonably so given the quality we have at our disposal. Even then I don't think fans would be wanting a change if we're not in Champs League or even Europa League come the end of the season. People just want to see us have a fucking go and at least attempt playing some decent stuff. When we're seemingly putting ourselves in the midst of a relegation battle I think fans can be entitled to call for the manager's head - particularly when the problems are so glaringly obvious. Now, I don't have the answers, but the shit we've heard from Pardew about training regimes, etc would indicate that small changes could have a big impact. Whether or not he'll implement them remains to be seen.

    Pardew Out?

Would agree that the squad outside the first 11 is dross, like, but Pardew could do much more with the players he does have available to make sure he gets the very best out of them. I would say that if Pardew had any balls he'd ditch the hoof and deploy a formation capable of suiting the best technicians we have available at the mo, but frankly it's not going to happen. Will be more of the same on Monday, no doubt.

  4. Problem is his thought process is: 'Who's unattached? Who will be happy being the lowest paid manager in the league with no budget?' Then appoint someone shit. Aye. Will also be someone who's been out of the game for years an' all - i.e. David fucking O'Leary or Curbishley. It'll be bargain fucking basement that's for sure.

    Pardew Out?

A penalty for what? Chestball? More guff from Pardew. We were fucking dire for most of that game. Same old set piece routines, same old long ball shite.

    Pardew Out?

Concur with the 'fuck off' view. Fuck off Pards. Humiliating performances and bereft of ideas. Fucking Stoke cunts, man.
  7. Sorry, like, but if we want to stay in this league Pardew's got to go. I know we're short on bodies and all but he's absolutely bereft of ideas.
  8. Absolutely no fight or determination in the players whatsoever. Change it now Ashley, before it's too late.

    Alan Pardew

Was simply delighted that we'd done so well, but I don't think even the most loyal fan could deny that on many occasions last year we looked far from a top 5 side. Would love to know the last side that finished top 5 that got thrashed by 4 or 5 against Wigan, Fulham and Spurs. As mentioned, a combination of good fortune and sublime individuality played a part. Not saying that Pardew didn't play a role, of course, but it's fucking obvious he's lost the plot.
  10. In a nutshell why Pardew needs to go. Sorry, don't give a fuck if kneejerk. Sick of this bullshit - especially when it's so fucking obvious where the problems are.

Then I would suggest we're going to be fucked come May, then. Pardew won't turn this around. The rot has kicked in and the man is too fucking obstinate to make changes that are badly needed to see at least some, marginal, improvement.

    Alan Pardew

Don't even joke about him. Might even be Venebles. Let's face it, only a knacker that's been out of the game for ages and desperate for an opportunity would work under the conditions imposed by Fat Ash. Let's see, who've we got out there at the moment? - Curbishley - Kean - Keane - Jewell The list could go on. But it's fucking worrying. I've never trusted MA to make a progressive, ambitious appointment. He's not done so in the 5 or so years he's been here so it won't change now.
  13. I'm sorry, Pardew's fucking lost it, like. He's not a clue. Problems have been obvious for months and still there's no attempt to address them.
  14. Let's hope he steps up. Been a complete passenger to date.

    Papiss Cissé

Get your shit together today please, lad.

    Alan Pardew

Exactly. God damn disgrace. I find it even harder to accept when I saw the lineup today that Cisse is available. fuck off Pardew. Campbell or xisco or whatever or even no striker is ok but Ranger? Both injured.

Would love to know what Pardew's own ambitions are for the side this year if he's coming out with those comments. We spend an entire season aiming to get into Europe, we get there, then all he does is bitch and moan about it being a strain on the players. Would he rather we not be in Europe at all? If we were not, would results have been any different? Fwiw I think Pardew was more than happy to toe the party line in the summer when we didn't bring anyone in. Now the shit is hitting the fan it's a useful excuse. That's not to say I don't disagree with his rhetoric regarding squad size btw.
  18. Absolutely. Was saying this to a mate yesterday. He's an absolute shit house of the highest order.
