I'm not sure. I'll grudgingly admit I think Oliver might be half-right here. -

If we got Poyet, I wonder how that would affect Spurs, seeing as though Poyet does the majority of post-match interviews, as Ramos continues to speak through an interpreter. -

yup. How nice his boss has given him the day off to go and protest. Oh, hang on... -

Anal on SSN. "we keep hearing about Zico". "we're supportive of Newcastle United Football Club, but we have a go when we feel it appropriate." "Llambias, Wise, Jiminez - I've never spoken to all 3 of these guys" - :kasper: -

I was up for appointing Deschamps before we got KK back. We could do worse than him. -

yup. Would be massively underwhelmed with Wise/Poyet. -
nufc.com have put up a list of actions to be taken that people have e-mailed. Most likely one seems to be a silent protest at the Hull game. Perhaps not the most effective, but not everyone is going to be up for boycotting the game.

was about to say I swear I've seen him on the doors for Tiger. He was there on Monday.

Who Do You Want As Keegan's Replacement?

in all honesty I don't know who I want. We could get anyone in, but if this whole disagreement starts up with the new guy, we'll just be in a vicious cycle. -

NAME: WarrenBartonCentrePartin AGE: 19 CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Player: Represented local teams as a solid and reliable left-back. Manager: Led Crewe from League 1 to the Premier League in 2 successive promotions, consolidated UEFA cup place in first PL Season. Left to go to Liverpool where I won the CL and PL in my first season, however I didn't like life on Merseyside and fucked off to Bayern Munich where I won the Bundesliga, German League Cup, German Cup, CL, Super Cup and World Club Cup 3 years on the bounce. might send that to the club, its my real-life (the player bit!) and FM (manager obviously) CV. I wonder if Ashley is crazy enough to give me an interview... -

first opportunity I've had to post since his resignation was confirmed. It doesn't surprise me, fair play to KK for his reasons to resign, if that were me, I'd probably have done the same. As a chairman/owner you simply can't undermine your manager in my opinion. If you do, you always run the risk of what's happened to us. RE: Gus Poyet. I will be extremely disappointed if this is Ashley's choice to replace him. NOW is the time to push the boat out and bring in a proven manager, not try this idea of Poyet and Wise being mates and being able to work in harmony. -

How do you know that? What part? I said I'm not sure of what Vetere's exact role is, but the way its perceived from what he's done in the past, he's pretty much a scout, not much more. The bit about Wise and Jiminez growing curly moustaches and plotting against Keegan. don't know that for definate either, but its what some on here and those in the media like to try and make me believe. -

I have to admit, although I don't know in full detail, if Wise goes, I'll be unhappy if Jeff Vetere goes. I don't know about Jiminez, as its possible he was working with Wise to undermine KK, but Vetere is basically a scout with a posh job title. I don't know how many of those we've brought in were his suggestion, but from the ones I've seen play, if it was him, they've been absolutely spot on signings. -

this is getting very interesting. It'll be interesting who comes in as DoF if we're to get a new one. Ashley has gone with people who are more business-minded so far, whereas I'm sure the names KK suggests will be football-men. However I'm still unsure we should get a DoF in, instead we should scrap the continental method. -

Just got back from work, so we haven't sacked that cunt Llambias then? (the one who I think is at fault after thinking about it/reading the opinions of others). -

From the way I've seen it since late last night, I think MA should have a quiet word in Mr. Llambias' ear. Obviously I don't know the ins and outs, but this guy has been appointed as MD and to oversee the comings and goings at the club. If he's not capable of getting who KK wants, then he isn't doing his job. If someone isn't doing their job, they usually get the sack. It appears that MA and Keegan see eye-to-eye most of the time, and I think it that the best way to resolve this is for MA to tell Llambias where to go and take a tighter grip on running the club himself. He's had his fun sitting in the stands, but if he wants the club to move forward, he should do his own work and not let some knacker and ex-casino manager who also has little knowledge of helping to run a football club do it. -
amen

my thought too. Its not just a billionaire, wanting instant success. If you look at the majority of clubs who have been taken over, and their manager sent packing, nearly all of them have had someone installed between the owner/chairman and the manager.
-
reading KUMB, it seems that he was in an almost identical situation to KK. Although it wasn't down to the fact the WH board failed to deliver the signings, it seems like these chaps Duxbury and Nani were happy to sell players behind Curbishley's back. So we're not the only ones, but of course its going to be us who have our goings on blown out of proportion. Most of them are unhappy with it, although one or two didn't rate him anyway. Unsurprisingly nearly all of them want Bilic.

I'm guessing the computers at sunderland Library were in great demand this morning, no surprise that video I uploaded has been spammed with plenty of "FTM" comments and such like.
