I'm a tit because I'd take Scholes for £2m considering the season he's just had and some of the absolute shite we're getting linked with.
-
If we're going down that route, I could list about 80 players worth signing on "Football Manager"/"Champ Man"
-
Thats because skysports.com has precisely f*** all to do with sky sports. Its planetfootball.com, sky just bought it and changed the name. The site is full of the same old s****. cheers. bit stupid advertising the website on the TV then
-
Interestingly, thats on the Skysports website.... I have SSN on - and absolutely nothing has been said on the matter.

Scott Parker signs for West Ham - £6.5m (+£500k) fee confirmed

I'm still hung up on the idea that Clark was getting sent to Argentina to unearth a "new Nobby". Admittedly, I'm not arsed if its Clark who goes, but if we were to find a couple of 18-20 year olds, bleed them through into the first team gradually, do anything we could to stop them from feeling homesick (ie. use Nobby as a "mentor") then I think we could end up with some real gems. -
Posting that did nothing. It's not made me want us to sign him anymore...

looks like this bloke that lives in my hometown of Chester-le-Street and stands outside Argos shouting abuse and sniffing glue.

I wouldn't panic about signings just yet. We're in the middle of a proposed takeover and its holiday time/international duty for players. Until both of these have happened/passed, then SA can do his wheeling and dealing. Don't forget, whatever he was originally promised as a budget could change should Ashley take over, and may mean he changes his original targets as he can afford an extra few million here and there. -

I agree with you totally on that. However, its a great ask and a massive gamble. -

Parker had the ability to, just for some unknown reason he decided to stop going forward and instead spin round in circles every time he got the ball -

hopefully Shinawatra will takeover Citeh and Ranieri will decide Barton is his best player and keep him. Wishful thinking.... -

I'm just happy it means that we won't have to endure the Butt/Parker pairing again. whoever we get to replace him needs to be much more attack-minded. Sadly no names spring to mind -

shows how much attention I pay. It's still poorly written. "A Toon insider" give it a rest. -

it was on Look North last night. they've only put 1-4 on there, but we're 5th! -
I saw Keane chatting with the dog next door. Can't work out whether he wants to fiddle it or partner it up front with Stokes next season
-
sent the link to a few mackem mates. The response was priceless, got stuff like, "He'd never leave us, he's happy here". I'm sure they don't know him personally, so they can leave the "happy" bit out. And I also promptly asked them about his past record of walking out at crucial moments. Something that caused their now-chairman to blubber in front of the world's media alongside McCarthy. It shut the fuckers up to say the least.

If you believe what teamtalk go on about then Parker wants to return to London - supposedly his family are still based there. If that's the case theres no real other option than to cash in I think -
I'm not bothered. A s*** team would be good to get 3 points on the board. But Chelsea/man utd/liverpool away would get it over and done with
-
dunno why everyone wants fulham at home. our past record in this fixture isn't worth boasting about.
-
how the f*** have fulham gone from shitty unknown manufacturer to nike? oh, and the bayern munich one is a posh man's doncaster

Best debut you've ever seen for a toon player?
WarrenBartonCentrePartin replied to Leazes1986's topic in Football
Charlie Zog's vs. Blackburn at home. Never before have I been so impressed with the way in which a lad has come on, ran about 20 metres and then the whistle gets blown. -

Jimmy Milner had a good HOME debut vs. Rangers in the Newcastle-Gateshead cup. I realise he played beforehand out in Malaysia... -
yup, and of late Butt has been better than him. and we know you can't play with two defensive midfielders. You need someone to go forward. Therefore, from my calculation I can conclude that Parker would not be in the team

nar, his dogs just riddled with disease.
