  1. better than last seasons, but boring. Would've preferred the Argie stripes. Sadly I can sense that the colour will appeal to the charver population, along with the chelsea away kit. The keeper kit however, is god awful. Shay looks like a giant Rhubarb and Custard sweet.
  2. blatant by the fact there's an unrevealed bit on the collar.
  3. we await the response from kingdawson...
  4. thats the thing, half that team have put themselves in the shop window now, so there's going to be a lot more interest generated and fee's are going to inflate
  5. I rang them last season asking if tickets for Blackburn away had been sent out. got told "Urrghhhh, yeah, they have". "Well, why havn't I received mine? You've debited my account", says I. (This was on the Monday before the game [saturday] ). "Urgh, dunno mate." Phone down. Rang up again, got through to someone with a bit of intelligence, probably Jan, and it turns out my mate forgot to sign the application form and that if he went through and signed it, we'd get the tickets. He did, and we went. Pointless story, but highlights the farce that is the NUFC Box Office.
  6. I think it'll be plain blue with that squiggly line on it like the Liverpool one.
  7. really don't know why if he was to leave us, he'd go to citeh
  8. Yup I watched it. Pleased the lad can now say more than "I am very 'appy", although that wouldn't have been appropriate with this story anyway.
  9. this is quality... http://www.premierleague.com/wherearetheynow/index.html not just NUFC. If you're keen to find out what Southampton's Francis Benali is doing now, this is for you!!
  10. the dark top on the sock suggests it might not be a copy of the Argentina top 'cos you'd think the socks would be blue and white too if that was the case.
  11. bring back the 3rd top from the season before last. the one that was just plain blue with bits of white. was simple but very nice at the same time and as for that, it was a crime against the humanity of shirt-designing.
  12. If I buy a shirt this season It'll be this one like cos the home one is gash.
  13. I'd take anyone that Sam feels he's done his homework on, tbh. Can't expect "big names" to arrive until (if!) we're playing champions league football so for me if Sam feels he's getting a grafter with the ability to cut it in the Prem, he has my backing. We know where the weaknesses are, and Sam should know if the players he's after are better than what we have.
  14. Thought Helder did a decent job when he was here, tbh. Didn't Helder pop one in against the mackems? Even though it was 2-2, anyone that puts the ball in that slimy lot's net gets hero status from me.
  15. it'd be 10x easier/better/cheaper if someone could get them on their PC and stick them in a torrent
  16. The Black And White Video (VHS), 96/97 issue 4 is knocking about on Amazon
  17. So is that England, Serbia, Holland and Belgium in the semi's?
  18. Peter Keen, Adam Bartlett and Adam Collin. 3 keepers that were in the reserves for ages yet got nowhere near the first team before being released.
  19. Wayne Quinn. Think I remember reading somewhere absolutely no-one would have him
  20. When he left for Spain he was doing what he does now very sparingly. He's certainly become more consistent in La Liga, not sure how the form would stand up back here. Also am sure before his move he was being a bit of a dick with someone, club, player, nation, money? Can't remember, but something sticks in my mind. he was being a bit of a stroppy cunt at Spurs, you're right, but I've forgot what about. Tell Sevilla we're not interested in him, we want Dani Alves! haha. But knowing our luck he'd probably be a flop despite looking a class act in Spain
  21. as I said in the other thread, African Nations Cup, don't look to replace Owen if no-one bids - Owen is much better than Kanoute, and even so, if we had to, Kanoute isn't a player I'd be looking at. to Melanchronic for pointing out he's 29 and all.
  22. How often in the ANs? Has it not just been? It's pretty much all of January usually. And looking at our fixtures around that time, that's when we need everybody fit. Don't see why we're "replacing Owen" when there's been nowt made of any bids yet. If no-one comes in for him (with enough time to let us replace him) then make him stay, don't go out trying to offload him. Contrary to the article as well, I don't think Kanoute would be interesting in coming here unless we offer him a bucket-load of money.
  23. The Kanoute speculation is mint like. Are Mali in the African Nations? That's really gonna get us places, 2 of the 4 strikers away for January. So what do we do should (if expected) Shola gets crocked? Put our hopes in Carroll? While we're on lets get half the Ghana team in too. FUCK ME.
