  1. I said the same thing to QBG on Sunday. As if it makes a scrap of difference that the ball is an inch out of the quadrant. Our lot could place it five yards inside and still not hit the right spot. I find myself feeling completely alone up in L7 a lot of the time. When a clearly offside Cisse is flagged for being offside, only to be met with howls of derision by the masses, and condemnation for the inept official. Not sure how I manage to spot it every time but nobody else does. Also, it really grates me how fans can be so completely certain of a foul not being a foul when they are half a mile up in the sky. See Gouffran on Sunday. Not one person around me said 'well it looked like he caught him'. They just screamed at the diving little pussy to get up I knew it was a bad one straight away, I didn't call it a sure fire red, I couldn't possibly see from my perspective, but it was clear he went over the ball and caught Johnson. Although, I would say I think this is common amongst most groups of fans. The bias displayed is so overwhelming it borders on lunacy. When Cisse puts the ball in the net now, it's just become second nature for me to look at the linesman.
  2. where's he been spouting that guff like? Nowt on his twitter feed.
  3. Another Welsh team in the PL = another opportunity to sing "what the fucking hell is that?" when they bring out all their Welsh flags. They also acted like utter fucking cunts when they came up in the fizzy pop.
  4. first day back at work today. A few mackems tried to gloat. However the smug grin was soon wiped off their faces when I simply admitted we were shit and that they were the better team that wanted it more.
  5. the team shape which he changed at HT?
  6. what I will at is my WBA-supporting mate talking about them being contenders for 4th-6th back in October/November.
  7. I think if they go down Dave Whelan's hand is significantly weakened to be honest. If MA and DL wanted him, it might be a long, drawn-out affair but I most definitely don't think it would be a complete non-starter. I'm not sure he's worth a long drawn-out affair, fact is for all his pretty football Wigan have made 0 progress at all under him and still have the same problem of not doing f*** all in a season until its spring while other less fashionable managers at Wigan have done better eg Bruce finished 11th with them Not saying it's who I'd want if we did sack Pardew (and I don't think we will) but at the minute it's the most realistic option. FWIW as well I think Bruce had a better squad of players while at Wigan than what Martinez is currently working with.

  9. the more I think about it, the more I can see it being Martinez if Wigan go down. The reasons being: Already managed in the PL. Something I've no doubt MA and DL would prefer He himself is likely to want to stay in a PL job rather than manage in the fizzy pop May well have some sort of relegation clause in his contract Other clubs that might consider a change (Reading, QPR, Southampton, Sunderland) have already made one The players we have supposedly would suit his style of football, therefore would he want to massively change the squad?
  10. the lad was on Look North. Clearly has some sort of cognitive disability. Absolutely no reason to laugh at him whatsoever.
  11. Yup. You're pick of the bunch, too. Mate, the focus is on you being racist right now. if what I said is racist, then racism is widespread throughout this forum.
  12. I hope if you're ever in the same position you'll post a picture so we can all have a laugh. Doubt I'd contact the media for a scratch, but that might just be me. had every right to go to the media. The fact that lot found it acceptable to throw a lit flare down into the home end needs to be highlighted. f***ing Scando's man. Can't we just ban the lot of them? What's up with the racism? This forum after a derby loss Not exactly racism. Just stating a fact that a helluva lot of the shite spouted on here seems to come from the keyboards of our Scandinavian posters.

  14. i always thought the notting hill thing was some patter this board made up. he really did use that?? aye. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-columnists/alan-pardew-interview-video-special/
  15. just gone back and read previews for the Chelsea away game and his dismay about the game not being moved due to the Notting Hill Carnival. What a fucking melt.
  16. 8 of the 27 nicked were inside SJP according to the police. 5 of the 27 were nicked before kick off.
  17. he doesn't have a fucking brand, man.
  18. the back page of the Chron is simply "Sorry". If he actually apologises on TV, could someone rip it, loop it and do a Clegg-esque autotune remix?
  19. the nag is called Bud, and he's areet. That flare also burned a disabled supporter. http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/15/police-horse-recovering-after-being-punched-by-newcastle-supporter-3616471/
  20. and there was me thinking these kids were simply just angry public sector workers...
  21. http://www.nufc.com/html/2006-07html/2007-05-05blackburn-h.html Think we'll be in that situation. Everything is leading to that kind of day and Roeder's quotes, in particular, will be identical to Pardew's. christ couldn't remember Roeder's exact comments but reading that is frightfully similar.
  22. he's not, like. We're Newcastle. We always hound out our managers apparently. We've done it before and with enough vocal discontent I believe we can do it again. It's that age-old argument, though. How do you show support to a team while on the other hand also voicing disapproval towards a manager/chairman/owner?
  23. stupid question: If we survive the drop by the skin of our teeth, for example we're thumped by Arsenal on the last day when we only needed a point but luckily Stoke or Wigan lose, would that be enough for Ashley to see sense and get rid? Would like to think that such a scenario would be enough to send alarm bells ringing even to him and he'd take action.
