Nearly half of the league now is so incredibly mediocre. It would be interesting if a third European competition was brought back, and like in rugby, every team except the bottom 3 won a place in one (which competition depending on where they finished). Could see the likes of West Ham, Norwich, WBA, Southampton, QPR, Wigan and Stoke take a good beating from similar placed teams in other countries.
