  1. just realised Wigan go above the unwashed if they win.
  2. Yeah, I forgot the time when blue, yellow, brown and red lasers came down from the sky, and the game where Emre cheekily opted not to wear shorts.
  3. part of me wants a kit like that again not only for nostalgic reasons, but also so fans of other clubs and the media can scrabble around for more 'lolzzz newcastle hav a mingin kit. thick geordies buyin it its horrible ROFL' story again as they tried to do with the 2-tone yellow this season.

  5. It seems like they only send people to do live commentary at 1, sometimes 2 games. The game thats being covered is always the one with the longest highlights, for example our game against Watford. All the others are just narrated over the top, which I suppose is fair enough considering they have the rattle through 3 leagues and fit in time to 'analyse' and read out silly texts and emails.
  6. highlights up on the BBC sport website. Carroll's chance in the first half and the scrambled clearance from Simpson's cross that the FLS didn't show are both on.
  7. good to see Malouda in doubt, so he took the safe option and overhead kicked it out.
  8. anyone got any idea what's being sung about John Terry?
  9. Stoke come close from Delap launching it into the box. Mikel clears it off the line.

  11. will he ever learn? so now because he's facing an appearance in court he's not allowed to eat out in a restaurant?!
  12. first post since FT - went on the hoy post-match. More than likely been said 1000 times but the sending off changed the game. We were 1 dimensional 1st half, only going down the left. Jonas and Pancrate swapped over after about half an hour and Jonas seemed to have more luck getting into space down the right, whereas he and Jose were being doubled upon down the left. They seemed to try and have 2 up top, even with 10 men for large parts. I'm not sure we'd have got another 5 had they gone 4-4-1 for 45 minutes. Still, am chuffed with that.
  13. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/05/mike-ashley-newcastle-united-fans his actual quote.
  14. priority is most definitely to stay up, especially if the grusome twosome are still at the helm. As long as they're here we've still got the possibility of them pissing about which could lead to relegation looming over us.
  15. Plymouth away on a Monday night is an absolute piss take like. Obviously its not forcing any fan that wants to go down to skip at least one day of work, and/or pay to stop a night somewhere, but its made it nigh-on impossible for them not to have to do that.
  16. Eeeeeeeeuuurrrrrr. Jermaine, looks like I'm better. (tehTrunk).
  17. still should've saved it. (If you're sticking up for the keeper).
  18. turned it off at HT to watch the second part of this 'Five Days' thing on BBC as it was so boring.
  19. looking forward to seeing Leon Best teach the Brazilians a footballing lesson, starting in around half an hour.
  20. Shame. He's done a decent job. From our point of view, anyway.
