Albert 27, Ginola 14 or Ketsbaia 14 I think, will decide in the morning. Dan, wear that top to Greece, you'll get mobbed. I had Dabizas on an the shield shirt (before me mam burned a hole in it with the iron!). Wore it in Crete, the locals loved it.

that was quality. Albert having a liking for Sid the Sexist, and Tino whacking porn on on the bus

Chelsea win FA Cup after 2 - 1 win over Everton

Chelsea have appointed Ancelotti. Was to be expected, really. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/8076779.stm -
http://www.backoftheshirt.com/images/madeshirts/400/49613.jpeg tempted to go for that, merely because the 4 is mad. (done on a Sheff Wed top for the white patch).

I think sicko2ndbest made a similar post, but I've said all along, Freddie running the club on a day-to-day basis, with a consortium behind him who can limit his power is fine by me. I just fucking hate Derek Llambias.

the fizzy pop numbering looks the business! Going into town later, might buy it ahead of my trip away next month.

having to choose between watching it on Setanta or ITV is like being forced to pick having AIDs or being forced to jump from a 300ft tall building. -
Alan Shearer contract latest: long gone
WarrenBartonCentrePartin replied to Shearergol's topic in Football
I was discussing this with one of my housemates earlier this evening. The pair of us honestly wouldn't be surprised if talks have stopped because Mike Ashley wants to sit in the sun in his big garden. The more and more I think about it I think he has a similar mindset to Homer Simpson. -
think I'll probably buy the shirt once the championship numbers are in stock like. Fuck knows what to get like, might just play it safe and opt for "Beardsley 8".

massive club or not a massive club, the next time you make beans on toast I urge you to melt some cheese on first. You won't look back.

Alan Shearer contract latest: long gone

I can just imagine Shearer and Dowie putting their ideas across, and Ashley and Llambias losing interest after about a minute, too busy hitting each other and pulling faces, similar to when you try and talk to little kids about something they're not interested in. -
Beans AND cheese on toast is a fucking revelation.
-
Llambias blatantly doesn't like the chap sat on the wall.
-
Ashley: Look lads, if the worst comes to the worst we can always get in a manager who won 4 titles with 2 different clubs!
-
Guy on the wall: Now who ate the last chocolate eclair? Ashley: (in like a flash) I dunno?
-
where, who with, link, pictures etc?

if a bid is made and accepted, it should be quicker than when Ashley bought the club though, surely? Ashley was having to buy up shares, and then once he'd done so, was obliged to make a formal offer for the club. If theres money in one big pot (the consortium) buying out Ashley, then surely it could go through in about a week? How long did it take the Arabic group to buy Citeh from Shinawatra? Can't remember it dragging on.
-
Shepherd? Over Llambias, yes. Shepherd supposedly took us to the edge of financial oblivion last time, but if there were a consortium who owned the club above him, then its their job to look at the books and set limits. There's no doubting Shepherd wanted the best for the club, his problem was his continuing trend to just chuck money at clubs and players in order to get them in.

I'd welcome anyone with money trying to buy out Ashley. Where the problem lies is if they intend to run the club themselves, do they have the know-all to, if not, will they bring in someone that knows what they're doing? Our problem at the minute is that regardless of the money available, we have two monkeys in charge that don't have a fucking clue how to run a football club. The example being the Irish bought sunderland, but at least left it up to Niall Quinn to sort the day-to-day runnings of the club. He hasn't worked miracles, but he's done a damn sight better than Llambiarse.
