Habib Beye signs for Aston Villa, fee undisclosed
WarrenBartonCentrePartin replied to a topic in Football
can't be arsed to bite on the whole, big club-little club thing, but here's a little tip. Just hit the quote button at the top right of the person you want to reply to's quote. 10x easier -
I'd have them merely for the comical value when their spokesman says they are honoured to own the famous team that play in BLICK AND HWHITE.
-
I think they'll spin it so Michael Owen looks good. Something about him joining an unattractive side simply to get his England career back on track, professional attitude, all the usual words associated with Michael Owen. maybe, but I still think there'll be continuing articles about how he's finished.
-
It'll be even more of a media wankfest if he were to go to Hull. They've lapped up the past 4 years saying how he's spiralled downwards since he joined us, but moving to 'lowly' Hull will just give them an extra bumper chapter. This time, however, we can laugh a little bit.

I tried to cancel the other day and was told (by two seperate people) that I had to email or send them a letter, then it would take a month from the next billing date. Predictably I've had no confirmation. f***ing amateurs man, absolutely no idea about customer service. I take it you're with Sky? When we cancelled ours, I just rang Virgin Media and had it removed from my service, no problem.

gallowgate has similar views and closer to the pubs of the city centre. Probably would be my second choice after the Leazes. My seat in the Milburn had a cracking view but there was fuck all atmosphere.
-
where is reasonably priced that offers a decent view nowadays? I gave up my seat in the Milburn paddock at the end of the 06/07 season after 7 years as I was becoming a student bum and couldn't afford £480. However I've recently come into some inheritence following the death of my grandmother, and am thinking of returning after 2 seasons out. I've been in L7 before and don't fancy it. Was thinking of the Leazes...

Alan Shearer contract latest: long gone
WarrenBartonCentrePartin replied to Shearergol's topic in Football
I spoke to me dad last night, and he said they mentioned something on the legends about the 4 consortiums meeting, and discussing whether if they all want Shearer as manager. If they do, it was claimed a decision could be made by tomorrow. -
I hope that if Profitable buy us, all of Steve McMahon's statements are released in rap format.
-
fingers crossed for the first away game of the season being somewhere relatively close that also can offer a big allocation. Sheff Wed or Barnsley or something.
-
even with fuck all information about them, and limited substance to the story. I hope to hell it happens. I just want an end.
-
SSN are reporting that O'Neill has denied that.

I had no reply to my offer...

WBCP Holdings LTD have made a formal offer of £100m, payable at £5 a month, over 20,000,000 months.

it'll be down to how many the club choose to take. The mackems I know were part of the 8 or so thousand they took down to Barnsley. The thread Dave mentioned seems to suggest a lot of clubs will offer big allocations if we wanted them. If we request that much, then I can't see it being too hard to get a ticket.

For God's sake, me belly ache The doctor said it’s me kidney He said he’s got to stick a tube up me knob I said you got to be kidding me For God' sake, knob ache.

£10 if you buy the top from there. I didn't know this, thinking I'll get it for £35 from sports soccer, then £10 printing, thus saving me a fiver 'cos I'm a tight bastard. My plan backfired, leaving me feeling like Dick Dastardly. Probably why I got hacky looks when I walked out the shop muttering "drat...and double drat" to myself.
-
got mine today. If anyone wants it printed DON'T GO TO THE MONUMENT MALL SHOP. The daft bint did it, put it in a bag, I got home and noticed the top of one of the letters wasn't stuck down. However, I used the iron and its now stuck down, but £15 for the bloody printing ('cos I didn't buy it from the club shop) and I still had to finish it myself is a joke. Also agree about the sponsor, its bloody heavy.

fingers crossed for both of those happening.
