  1. I don't think we should sell Oba Martins.

    - Tottenham are selling Berbatov for no less than £35 mill.

    - Would Villa sell Agbonlahor or swop him for Martins?

    - Why don't SGE go for OWen instead? or Swop Elano for Martins?

He might have had a bit of an inconsistent season for us, and this might be because of BSA tactics, but we know what he capable of. And he is the least inj prone striker we have atm, and is the only striker in our sqd who can *guarantee goals.

    * as if Owen, Viduka or Shola really guarantees anything or than injury.

Don't sell him unless we get BIG BIG money, cause he has a great prospect. Also if we are to sell him, we shouldn't do so until the summer - not in january!

  2. Btw... not trying to be rude or disrespectful here... but... there are a couple of shortlists on the FM forum, which are pretty much complete in terms of future wonderkids and high potensial players. I actually have them, and if I had BS' email address I would def mail the lists to him :laugh2:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------- the rude part ------------------------------------------------------------------

That way, he can bring in some good players... some of them are real cheap Sam, like super cheap...suits you well ;D

In fact you will manage everything with your squad now, once FA (the AI)  understands that you are struggling real hard, they will adjust the difficulty, and you will win a couple of matches

I also took the liberty to genie the entire Newcastle squad, and I'm afraid the current ability and the potensial ability is a bit low :p

do you guys thinks any of these are good enough and available for us in real?

  4. can't remember seeing us play this bad for years now... boring football... in this club... even the fans are disloyal and unprofessional...

Come January, and we will be in the red zone anyway... derserve to be relegated... painful, but true...

Calm down brother, calm down ...

Where's the posession play? the team work? We have 11 individuals out there looking like their playing hide and seek. So unorganized that I'm surprised they even know the names of each other.

  5. fair enough, it's you opinion... however, we have to stick with him atm anyway, not many quality managers are available and willing to take over.... Mourinho won't come, Van Gaal... nope...  the ones most of you want to get is not available or willing to take the job..... easy as that...

Sorry to disappoint you, but this club is looking more like dreamcastle - the real 'DREAMteam'  :iamatwat:

If he changes the tactic from 433 back to 442, and stops playing players out of pos. we would perform better.

Firstly, he doesn't play 433, thats a myth.

Secondly, there ARE many, many better managers than Fat Sam out there, and if we can't get one of them, we're in serious trouble.

The outlined part is actually a fact, my friend. Only way to solve it, is for Ashley to go mad like abramovich and f***ing buy us a decent team... that is also a fact! Cause that's how football works today :) I'd hate us for breaking the long tradition of buying domestic players, using shitty locals and so on... but at some point.. I couldn't care less if man utd, l'pool, Chelski, Arsenal or whatever side called us a billionaire-composed team...

  7. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_3006596,00.html (good article) read this and take notice on my signature. Some posts on these pages are very true and very down to earth  Expecting us to preform better than we do is b***s***. To be honest, at times I hate Allardyce (the games that we loose), but before I know it, luckily enough, I still believe he's the right man to turn things around.... given time

At least the manager and players are on good terms eh

    :iamatwat:

Well, you know Decky, my forum friend, Newcastle are utter s***. I for one, can't defend their so-called 'good' performance (i.e. Arsenal), that's the sort of performance I expect every match. The reason for my expectations are simply that with the players we have (squad) and the wages they get, one should really expect them, as professionals, to fight in every single match.... other teams do.... just look at Derby... who are rock-bottom...or portsmouth...

I'd say we should give Allardyce atleast a season. You know, it's fair, and for us (the fans) he can really prove his ambitions and true ability. We should only get rid of him if that's the requirement to have Ashley spend some big money.

Allardyce is NOT new to the league.

Allardyce should NOT be unaware of what type of players do well in this league.

Allardyce is NOT new to scouting players for this league.

Allardyce is NOT new to coaching players in this league.

Allardyce has spent £25m on players of HIS choice. Mainly s***.

Allardyce is now turning on the players HE bought/selects/trains.

Allardyce has shown himself to be tactically inflexible and stupid.

Allardyce has repeatedly selected the WRONG players and formations.

Allardyce gave the captaincy to a player who had NEVER played for us. And who has been s***.

Allardyce has since given the cpataincy to a player HE bought, who is s***.

Allardyce should NOT be our manager, should NOT be given any more money.

Allardyce is NOT the man for us, and keeping him in his job is NOT consistency, other than showing us to be consistently stupid.

Okey... but he also sold some players, he was appointed by Shepard not Mort & Ashley, and considering the fact that we were in "take over"-talks which took ages to complete (and he can't be blamed for that), his future at that time was rather uncertain. And it's hard for a professional, yes even an experienced and professional manager like Allardyce, to stay focused on his job, when he doesn't know wether he will have the job tomorrow or not... or wether he will have the support from the people around him.

The truth is, we are so far behind the top four that I hardly can see us ever catching up.. but if we are to try, and I believe we should... we need to be patient...consistency doesn't grow 'over night' (not defending our recent performance, cause it's been utter shit)... but if the fans stands behind the team and tries to motivate and see the positive things, that would be faaaaaaar better than constantly criticizing....

  10. If this is gonna be standard fare under the Allardyce regime, then the club is gonna have a real potential problem on it's hands. Who wants to pay to watch boring and negative football ? As has been said - you gotta feel sorry for the 5-6000 that have gone down there again today.

Well, you know we are simply not better than that anyway. People go on talking about the so-called strong sqd. we have on the "sheet", as that should matter... it's on the field that matters:)

  11. watching Villa - Gunners really makes me realise how f**king trashed we will be against Arsenal.

 everyone always says this, and have said it for the past 3 years, and how many times have we lost 5-0? we got a point last season did we not.

Much better side than they were last year.

mackems.gif what relivenace does that have to my point mackems.gif

Because your saying that year on year people say we'll get thrashed and we never do, i was saying Arsenal are a far superior side to what they were which will obviously make it harder to get a result.

i'm saying our fans have an attitude whereby we always assume when we come against a big team in form we'll be run over, and have had that attitude for the past 3 years. how many times in those years have we been beaten by 3 or 4 goals, because i can't remember many. we'll give it a good go imo but probably lose. we're not a pub team, we're a team with premiership players able to compete in this league.

We are the most inconsistent team in the league. Even Derby play more consistent than we do (although they consistently loose).

Who? We are better? One should really THINK so, but I afraid we aren't. Or maybe it's just that Allardyce keeps playing the girl OoP?

I thought the "they were" bit would have given you enough to realize i was talking about Arsenal.

    You'd think so...

Needless to say, NUFC play like women. Crappy team work, anticipation, passing (list is long). Given time, BSA can turn this around, but he needs to get some cash in januar FFS.
