  1. I hope I'm wrong, but can't help having a bad feeling about this. Just have to wait and see.

As someone pointed out in another thread, my fears may be a result of Pardew's comments about injuries and recoveries.

  2. I don't mind Ben Arfa doing his rehabilitation in France but I'll be annoyed if he isn't using this time to learn English.

I find it strange that he doesn't stay in Newcastle. What about getting to know his team mates and the city better?

I'd rather have a fully fit Ben Arfa who doesn't know his teammates/the area, than a potentially unfit, homesick player who knows where the all-night Greggs is.

Just a little worried that he is staying in Marseille, knowing his somewhat rebelious behaviour, I slightly fear he'll not return..

  4. I'd rather prefer that we sold Harper, and went for Krul and Forster.

Why the hell would you sell Harper?!  You wouldn't get anything for him!!  He's worth far more to us than others.  I bet you want to sell Nolan and Ameobi as well!

For no other reason than wanting Krul or Forster as our no. 1. I'd rather do it next season (providing one of them are ready to step up) then running the risk of loosing a potensial top (?) solid (?) consistent (?) GK talent. In a MA's transfer-policy-world it makes sense to ship out the "oldies" on high wages, and build on the younger, cheaper, and more sellable assets.

  5. We should sell him ASAP while he's still worth something to someone! Is there really anyone who still believes that Taylor will make it at this level? Every time he comes back from an injury he just messes up the good work our defence has been doing in the previous matches! Name a match where Taylor impressed you with his performance last time...because I can't.

From the positives if there's any...even Pardew clearly saw what's wrong with the team and took Steven off the pitch and moved players to their preferred positions which immediately improved the general look of the defence. I'm not sure if Hughton noticed the same but his substitutions were never correct and he never took off players who clearly let the team down or was it just his endless confidence of players ability to turn it around :idiot2:

I 100% agree with you. Sell him, and use the money to keep Jose.

  6. QPR agree Routledge fee

Warnock delighted by winger's impact during loan spell

Neil Warnock believes Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee with Newcastle United for the permanent signing of Wayne Routledge.

The winger returned to Loftus Road on loan in January and he has scored twice in eight appearances for the Championship leaders.

Warnock has been delighted by the 26-year-old's impact since rejoining the club and hopes to persuade Routledge to sign a long-term contract.

"I think they've sorted out a realistic figure," said Warnock in the Fulham Chronicle.

"I can't give exact details, but I think we've agreed everything with the club should it go ahead.

    Pestered

"I don't think there's any rush for either of us. We'd like to sign him, whatever happens, but I imagine it depends on where we end up, because I think Wayne would like to play in the Premier League. If things went wrong for us, then he'd probably go back.

"He's got to be enjoying it because of the way he's playing and we're enjoying having him. We'd love to keep him."

Warnock added: "I thought he'd do well for us. That's why I chased him for so long and talked to him so many times. Pestered him, in fact.

"It can sometimes be difficult coming back to a club, but I told him it was a lot different now and I felt the club was geared up to let him play his best.

"I thought we were a solid side and I thought you need players like Wayne to win games and I'm delighted to get him."
