im still thinking man u will win the league. they are too good at winning, the bastards
-
It would finish 8-1 though id probably be happy with that, seeing as the first finished 1-5
-
your picture is great by the way
-
hopefully the FA will make liverpool replay this fixture as a punishment to gerrard.
-
what i do is i support newcastle, but i have been to all the other local teams and cheer them on (but not when playing us) and make a conscious effort regarding their results. yesterday i went to see Gillingham v Wycombe, and ive been to see fulham a few times not playing us, watford, millwall and palace. seeing charlton next week. then i see one game at SJP per season and all the london away games if possible.

the half way through the season who finishes where thread.

man united- think quality will prevail and they win the league pool - not much seperating 2 and 3 but liverpool wont keep it up i dont think to win. chelsea drop too many points at home, and chelsea - wont keep winning away from home that and scolaris first season. maybe next year if they dont fire him. villa- quite a few points ahead of arsenal i think. arsenal- marginally ahead of everton. everton- home record will improve and they finish the season strongly. wigan- very impressed with these 2 managers, particularly hodgson as fulham are generally quite entertaining. both have a fulham - very strong defence and fulham will start to score away from home. man city- too good to be in the position they are in. will spend big in january. spurs- ditto. newcastle- we'll get a few modest buys in january and will finish mid table again. bolton- starting to play better football and still seem quite resiliant. hull city- bubble has burst, but their earlier points will keep them up, and they will still pick up points to stay up with room to spare. west ham- cant see them going down, even if their manager is unproven. middlesbrough- will be close, maybe downing will leave. some teams will be worse. blackburn- big sam will keep them up in dull style, for them to become one of the most hated teams. not much in it. west brom- theres always a team staying up on goal difference on the last day, à la fulham and west ham. have a good manager. stoke - no goal scorers, can see them drawing at home, losing narrowly away. will be happy to see shot of them. portsmouth - seem to be in freefall and James not playing well. defoe or crouch might leave. not looking good. no faith in adams. s'land - no faith in sbragia, not that good a squad. maybe 20th is a bit harsh on them but i dont think theyll be marooned like derby or watford. i really do like that this seems to be a really competitive season, realistically anyone from 7th to 20th could stay up or go down. what do you all think? -
Whats the best way to lose weight?
-
well, we can safely say that all those robberies of players homes in Liverpool have now been solved. it was gerrard all along!
-
if the club cant sell the smaller allocation, they arent going to expand it. economic climate, and the pantomime that has been this season have led to less people wanting to go to places like fulham and west ham. id like to see 6000 geordies making a racket at fulham but unfortunately not going to happen at the moment
-
to those saying shearer, i think it would be mad appointing a manager with no mangerial experience whatsoever. it is essentially just because he was a great player and a geordie legend. if viduka retired this season and got appointed as manager, what would people do then?

agreed. if we took 2 points (average) from all our home games, and 1 point from away games, wed finish on about 60 points. given that weve kept 3 clean sheets on the road and won one, im hopeful we can nick a goal and win this game, but it wont be a thriller by any means. points away from home are most welcome if we can build up a good record at SJP. similar to fulham if you like -
anyone going to risk any predictions for this one? im going for 0-0
-
how can he be so good at headers with a bush like that on his head?

on the sky sports live score centre: Keith from Seattle says: "I am a die hard Everton fan, but would take a loss today to ensure liverpool dont stay top. the perfect present for Evertonians everywhere!!" americans

Oba can be owens replacement, who do we want as martins's replacement? In my opinion, those saying Zaki need to bear in mind that he hasnt scored in ages. i havent seen him play granted, but it may just be that he was class initially.

if we finished this season in the top 10 id be over the moon! in the long term we want to be higher, but id be happy with gradual improvement into the top 10 and consolidating over the next few seasons.

where does this quote come from, and in what context?

by the amount of penalties weve given away this season, id imagine not very high! fulham will win that one.
