yep, they played some bt advert instead. 118 miutes of that boring game and this happens. couldnt believe it!!
  2. is david craig the same person as craig david?
  3. in fact: underrated xi myhill hangeland bassong turner wrightphillips fellaini dempsey valencia cole davies roberts
  4. Yeah, that won't necessarily happen. dont reckon we would come up straight away if we went down, by any means
  5. Given Bosingwa Vidic Lescott ? Young Ireland gerrard ronaldo Agwhore ?
  6. echoes my sentiments perfectly. excellent post tbh. obviously i want us to stay up. but if we were relegated and came straight back up that would imply that we would at that point be stable, as if we carried on with the same level of instability, poor management and poor players, we wouldnt win the thing would we? by winning the championship i would imagine that we would have some good players, playing good football and well managed .this would see us in good stead for the premierleague next season but obviously i would rather we remained in the premiership and stabilised and consolidated
  7. if you project current form, we go down. How can they be more in the s*** than that? injuries. portsmouth seem to be terrible, and are in worse form than us. stoke have barely any quality whatsover, as with boro. blackburn seem to be improving but the big sam effect will come soon. brom seem to be really good of late but willl they keep it up alll season? hull are shite. not saying we will go down or stay up for definate but giving what i have just said, how can anyone predict a 90% channce of relegation for us? there should be at least 3 of those before who we finish above. sunderland as well.
  8. get a grip people. honestly are those saying 9 do they honestly think we have a 1 in 10 chance of staying up? so come the final day of the season, you expect us to be dead and buried, with no hope and you honestly wont be surprised in any way? bollocks you will. im still on a 4. however, i will change it after the west brom game if we fail to win. we have martins coming back and have signed nolan which improves us. boro, portsmouth, blackburn, west brom, stoke, hull are all in the shit more than us if you ask me.
  9. yes. still think we will finish higher- maybe 15th. reset poll?
  10. Why? Because the Spuds will magically "click" at some point this season? They're in just as much trouble as Bolton at least, tbh. Spurs have got better players and they will go on a run and get away from the bottom. They aren't going to get relegated while Bolton quite possibly could, although today's result will give them a massive lift. I can't see Spurs going down like, nice things like that just never happen, but when you look at their remaining fixtures it makes you wonder. 3 of their next 4 are against Arsenal, Villa and Chelsea and they have a very tough run in with Man U, Everton and Liverpool in their last 5. (thats not breaking any fixture rules surely is it?) Interesting post, mate. I reckon Spurs might sneak a couple of surprises along the way but no team is too good to go down, and, at the moment, they really are not very good. But we still have to play them away- which is like our only source of guarenteed points. :colo: definately cant see it happenning and they seem to riase their game for the big 4. hence we seem to go there and walk all over them! good to see them sweat a bit though
  11. exactly all for the greater good. not to mention blackburn and boro drawing and pompey losign. damn you stoke!
  12. Good news for us. Could do with the scores staying as they are imo, apart from Arsenal going ahead. OJ simpson for brom
  13. wikipedia says: Taylor scored his first goal in the Premier League with a cracker for Wigan against his current club Newcastle United on 25 February 2007.
  14. agreed, on paper we should be beating these teams without breaking a sweat. but- on paper we should be challenging for Europe at the minimum. these teams like wigan, stoke etc are well run and have no pressure on them at all, and as such have massively overacheived. we should be looking at Wigan as a kind of model to run our club i reckon. to be honest, JFK has done a lot wrong, but there are so many other factors to consider, im not sure if we sacked him and brought in Mourinho id have that much confidence in him doing well for us
  15. for the time being, we can expect carroll to start. ive transfered him into my fantasy league team for 4.9
  16. sorry mate, but i cant help thinking your getting the size of club muddled with whether or not we should beat them. have a look at fulhams home record- theyve lost one game, and won most of them. wigan are 7th in the league, although i concede the bramble goal was down to poor marking. stoke ill give you, but sunderland i wont. i just dont think we have any right to "expect" to beat anyone given how far most teams in the league have improved and how far we have fallen.
  17. 5.6 is the return, so includes getting your stake back. You'll get £10x5.6=£56 back if it wins, £46 of which will be profit, the remaining tenner being the return of your stake. Don't bother changing the odds on betfair, I can't be arsed to explain, but unless you really know what you're doing it's more trouble than it's worth. cheers. ill bear that in mind. a bit of research brings up something about matched bets but it still makes no sense. still, with any luck ill be OK!
  18. can anyone help here? ive just turned 18 so just put my first bet on. put a tenner on with betfair on millwall to beat hull. It says odds 5.6, so it says if i win i get £46 profit. surely it should be £56? also, on the confirmation screen where you take the bet, you can use the mouse and change the odds (?) i changed it up to 13 to 1, and then decided id leave it at 5.6 as theres surely a catch. can someone please explain? cheers
  19. Just casually getting this onto the current page. fuck it, ill drink the piss of the entire population of burnley if they go through! sky sports live score centre says "burnley are 15 minutes from wembley. spurs are 15 minutes away from utter total humiliation"
  20. I'm not giving any more money to Ashley!! I'll buy my tickets online thanks very much! thatll show them evil cockneys
