this. To simply release Løvenkrands is a bit harsh....but maybe whats needs to be done? I can´t see us sell either Ameobi or Best....wouldn´t mind selling one of them and then bring in 2 new strikers. But with Arfa coming back i wouldn´t be surprised if Pardew decides to play with one striker as with Caroll. that means we probably will end up signing 1 striker in the summer. ranger simply has to be loaned out in order to play first team and develop, but also a year in Championship could hopefully help his attitude some way...

don´t think anyone really overshadowed the rest of the team with his performance - it was an overall very good performance. Thats why this team almost every game are very enjoyable to watch. The team-spirit can take a team very far. Its important Pardew keep this intact (what Hughton started). So buy wisely....the players attitude is so very important imo.

if we cant get silly money for S. Taylor i wouldn´t mind keeping him. I think he is still a good option/backup...and i suppport the idea of converting into more of a RB (as mentioned) to challange Simpson for the spot

That doesn't really make sense, if we get to a position were we're competing for top six then he's clearly good enough. If we're not and he's repeatedly being found out then you could say he needs replacing. We're hardly a million miles from 6th, we're in with a bunch of teams that could push on next season with a couple of good additions. Despite being the 5th top scorers in the league, personally I don't think it's the defence that has prevented us being up around there this year. Without Carroll (and to a certain extent Ben Arfa) we've basically been riding our luck in terms of goal threat. He is good but he would be one of the players who could/should be replaced if we wanted to progress imo. But i really really like him and he has proven he is good enough. he should and i hope he will be here for many years...maybe as backup....but he could still play many games if we are starting to play european competitions after next season.

He worked hard and did alright, but i dont think he is good enough! anyway what a great performance and match. Could have gone both ways but in the end we should be satisfied with the draw.

can´t really decide who is best/worst between Løvenkrands and Best? in a 4-4-2 i would always prefer to start Løvenkrands with either Best or Ameobi and not Best and Ameobi since i find then too similar. That is if these 3 are the best we have available.

I would like us to spend something like this: 15-25 mill. on two quality strikers 5-10 mil.l on left/right winger who will challenge both Jonas & Barton for the starting place. 5 mill. on cover for Tiote 3-4 mill. on Ireland or someone else to challenge or cover nolan & Ben Arfa for the spot behind the striker or central midfield as nolan can as well! ?? mill. on cover for Jose (haven´t seen Ferguson myself) and cover or upgrade on Simpson (ok if he is first choice next season with S. Taylor as backup) ?? CB to partner Colo 50 mill. or so should be enough for this! But it very difficult to tell what the cost will be...obviously

remember he never wanted to go to villa....and everything went wrong from the beginning. Still young and have every opportunity to return to prevoius form. Whether he is up for it i dont know? As i see it its all about his attitude, sort it out and he will be a very very good signing even for 4-5-6 mill
