Marcus Rashford fired in his side's third from a Fellaini low cross seven minutes after coming on. The striker has now scored in his first appearance in the Champions League, Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, League Cup and for England. Impressive stuff. Happy to see him score.

Personally I thought that Canadian thing was a look back at 1975, not 2003. The Canadians were doing a lot for the sport back then. The Premier League's base ran through there as they were hosted on Fox Sports World which then turned into Fox Soccer Channel. To date, that was the best coverage we ever got. Also, like two years later, Toronto FC sprung up. And finding a League Cup score in a Canadian newspaper is pretty decent. I can't even remember who won the competition in 2003. And then add in Owen Hargreaves and Jonathan De Guzman. Canadians who were so good that they broke into European national teams!

The commentary from Alan Smith was ridiculous, he so wanted them to win at one stage i thought we were playing Real Madrid the way he went on. They were average and we were very good, you wouldn't have known it though. Pardew and Redknapp were praising us a lot to be fair but it was more focused on Lascelles than anyone else. Might be better if no one knows. The longer we have this lad, the better.

Ahh that's silly. He'll be a fan favorite soon. During the Hamburg game, the Greek captain was insensed with winning every tackle over him. Twice even directing cheering the fans during their interactions. He's a personality. Someone the mass don't like for any particular reason but the real smart ones tbh get behind because they know he's just a fucking football player.
