  1. Would love to believe what he's said but when you look back at everything else, you know it's just hot air. He talked about the five year plan and we were relegated that season. Strategic move from him to do this right at the end of the season so the focus won't be on him for the rest of the summer. Because no matter what moves we make, people will just point back to this interview and say how its a step in the right direction or some other bollocks. Shit leapords don't change their shit spots.
  2. How can a designer look at the current Juve kit and feel its acceptable to put that out?
  3. Carver's reaction if we do stay up.
  4. Prefer that. Good for Dourtmund and Jones-Smalling hasn't been that bad for Man Utd, they are fourth after all. I Was impressed with Smalling against Arsenal. I thought he would be playing at Villa or Sunderland by now.
  5. Good article for inspiration. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32787590
  6. We're done. We don't have a chance against West Ham. We're relying on Man Utd. The same Man Utd that pipped us to the title, put us in our place by signing our best player. Beat us in our last cup final and have sent us such players like Butt, Smith, Obertan and Simpson to destroy us from within. They're a curse on this football club and I fully expect them to lay down for Hull on Sunday.
  7. The number of cunts who have played for this team, man.
  8. Exactly. We play in slow motion but when Ben Arfa got the ball, he actually looked like a footballer. Trying to play one-two, driving at defenses, playing reverse passes, diagonals, he did it all. I remember him coming on against Arsenal and everyone from their team trying to get the ball off him but couldn't. He probably played 20 minutes that game and did more than anyone else did. If there was ever a player to be excused from tracking back, it was him, because he was so much more dangerous with the ball and in space. Ridiculous that he doesn't play here anymore. He actually gave a fuck.
  9. I seem to remember Ben Arfa creating chances in 90% of the games he played in. Off the top of my head, he probably only had four or five games when things didn't go for him. He may have been half arsed in training(allegedly) but on the pitch where it mattered, he was always looking to make things happen.
  10. Certainly better than the team we put out last time but it's disappointing not seeing Sterling and Barkley there. Look at Spain's team. They took it seriously and won. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_UEFA_European_Under-21_Championship_squads
  11. I agree with all that. I see Colback in the same sense. My issue is that fans on here don't believe Colback is good enough to play even that water carrier role for this team. He did in the wins against Chelsea and Liverpool.
  12. Absolute bullshit. Colback's strengths are not running and winning tackles but passing and maintaining possession. This is similar to the James Milner's time here. He was never valued by N-O and when he left, we saw his true potential. Put Colback in a good side with good players and you'd get the best out of him. If by some luck we stay up and appoint a competent manager, Colback would start every game. I guarantee that. He especially wouldn't be left out of the side for Vurnon Anita.
  13. Thanks, Baba. Some sense on the matter.
  14. Wow. You're comparing Newcastle wanting Ronaldinho to Everton scouting Jack Colback. I've seen it all.
  15. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/everton-fc-transfer-rumour-mill-6471768 http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/swansea-join-race-for-sunderland-s-jack-colback-1-6630651 Also linked with Tottenham in December. West Ham last year. You put anyone one of those players I put up in this team and they'd perform exactly the same. The entire team isn't performing. Even McCarthy was relegated with Wigan and is highly regarded now. Colback shouldn't get as much abuse on here as he does. He's probably been one of the better players this season tbf. Also worth noting N-O is my only interaction with Newcastle fans. So I'm not sure if Colback is heralded by the general Newcastle fanbase and that's why he's so hated on some like Smark/Mark wrestling fan type thing.
  16. He would start. Are you telling me Colback isn't in the same league as the likes of McCarthy, Shelvey, Ki, Besic, Gibson, Barry, Osman, Britton and Cork? A few months ago, people were saying how Anita could be a useful "cog" with the right players around him. That's how I see Colback. With the right players around him, he could do an effective job of spraying the ball around and winning tackles.
  17. I think its unfair that this lad gets all the blame on here. He was FREE, has got a few goals and assists, and actually wants to play for the club. Where as Cabella and De Jong who cost money and haven't contributed nearly as much as their price tag has justified are given a free ride. I strongly believe if you put Colback in a functioning team like Swansea or Everton, he'd perform quite well.

    Ryan Taylor

That makes for some grim reading. Raylor wasn't good enough six years ago in 2009 FFS. And I think the only reason we bought him was because he kept scoring against us.
  19. Such a weak weasel of a man, just getting hounded into doing stuff. Pathetic stuff. He does have an uncanny resemblance to a weasel, just with a more shriveled face. Face like an arse for me.
  20. Real 3-1. Ronaldo and Marcelo's goals were fantastic finishes.
  21. Real Madrid suicide. Ancelotti's face. It didn't change.
  22. Ancelotti is the Ron Swanson of the football world.
  23. I'd agree with that. Neuer allows some strange goals to go in against him.
