They should try to recruit from the surrounding nations. Surely someone's gotta have ancestry. Ted Beneke did.

Although he's not playing now, It's weird how Nani is that for Portugal. Aye I did a double take recently when I saw he had well over 100 caps. Quaresma too. It's weird how that golden generation belatedly came good together last year even if it was in the most boring way possible. It's things like that that make me think that maybe just maybe, England can do it, too. As long as we get that crazy luck of the draw they got. And Speaking of boring, what a boring goal for Portugal to score.

Watched France - Holland last night and he was skipping past defenders like they weren't there and he took his goal so well. He's got so much confidence for an 18 year old, he doesn't look fazed one bit. France were so dominant. Lemar didn't get on the ball much, but when he did, he was silky. I don't know if I've ever seen a player like Kante before. He's got such a motor. Excellent on the ball, too. He played about five diagonals and they all found their man. Pogba just shrugs off players with ease. You think he's gonna lose it, but he creates a comfortable amount of space for himself. I prefer him in those deeper positions, going forward, he's hit or miss. Greizmann does so much extra running, he pops up everywhere, but he can be a little wasteful at times. Giroud slowed things down, it wasn't his best night. Their full backs, Sidibe and Kurzawa, are very powerful and had complete control over their wings going forward at will. And then there's all the depth on the bench. I can't think of a more stacked squad in the world right now.

Sergio Ramos is so class.

Mahrez to Chelsea now. Would be a good move.

This has gotta be one of the best Deadline Days since like 08 when Robinho and Berbatov moved. Us aside.

We should be in for Drinkwater next year.

Yes. Was probably my favorite moment in the match.

After Ayoze had a shot saved, was he the one to recover the ball with a skillful turn?
-
Wow! Arsenal's stock continues to plummet.
-
Probably because Klopp and Liverpool really want him. That's how I feel Keita sees it.
-
How's Mane not in there?
-
I'd throw everything at RBL for Keita. He's a midfield general and just looked better than every other player in the Bundesliga. His value is only going to increase so it's best to sign him ASAP.

Mane looks unplayable.
-
I too was very impressed with that.
-
Keita would be amazing. I think him and Lemar have the class to play for Barcelona.

There have been way too many red cards brandished all around football this season. i feel like it's at an all time high this far into a season.

He's hilarious. First yellow, ponders kicking the ball out of place for at least 5-10 seconds. Decides to ping a cross pitch ball to Modric because Deportivo didn't kick the ball out when Carvajal went down. Modric, kicks it out of play. Ramos is furious, has a go at Modric for stopping play. Ramos then gets headbutted. Instead of being calm or diving in pain, he pushes the other player in the face with 2 hands. He's 31. Played more than 500 times for Real Madrid. Closing in on 150 Spain caps. CAPTAIN of both teams. Still slapping opponents. He's great.

why they insist on playing short corners and free kicks boggles my mind. The moment they went behind, they started actually putting the ball in and it helped.

Was just unlucky. Hit the post and made a lot.

Every Spurs player seems capable of creating a spark.
