Beeb: 1136: Fatboyjohnmulhern predicts a 0-0 draw, but since Newcastle have failed to keep a clean sheet in their 16 games since last playing City is that really realistic? City have scored in every home game this season. In fact, all their home games have ended 1-0. Consistent City. Who would have thought it? The clean sheets against Villa, Barnsley and Wigan must have been a dream then...

Absolutely sound bloke. Just spent half the neet chatting to him in Liquid. Told me he thinks its an honour to wear the shirt and will always love the toon whether or not he makes it at the top level. Asked him to do an interview for True Faith and he went "I'd love to, but patty would rip the piss outta me". I told him to tell "patty" he's a fucking pile of lard.

I love the fact their "kids" include 17million pound man Eduardo, 12 million pound man Walcott, Bentner, Eboue and Senderos amoung other.

ARSENE Wenger will ring the usual changes for the Carling Cup tie with Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. The Arsenal manager will rest almost all of his first-team regulars and will give a run-out to squad players and youngsters for the Third Round clash. "You will see Nicklas Bendtner, Lassana Diarra and Denilson," said the French coach. "Maybe Emmanuel Eboue (ankle) will be coming back as well. "You'll see Justin Hoyte and Alex Song and maybe Eduardo and Abou Diaby. "Then there is Armand Traore and Lukasz Fabianski who we have not seen a lot of so far. We have sold out and we will put out a good team. We want to give the opportunity to our fans to see some unfamiliar faces."

SAM Allardyce is expected to shuffle his pack with United facing what will be their second fixture in just over 48 hours. Michael Owen (groin) and Claudio Cacapa (groin) are both ruled out having picked up injuries in the 3-1 win over West Ham on Sunday. Mark Viduka took a kick to the foot in the second-half against the Hammers but should be OK for the trip to the Emirates. Stephen Carr, Celestine Babayaro, Joey Barton, Damien Duff and Peter Ramage remain long-term absentees. Emre is ready to return after picking up a slight groin strain during the international break, while the game could also mark a full debut for Abdoulaye Faye. Arsene Wenger was without Alexander Hleb (knee), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring),William Gallas (groin), Jens Lehmann (elbow) and Emmanuel Eboue (ankle) for Saturday's 6-0 demolition of Derby. And the Gunners boss has said that Nicklas Bendtner, Lassana Diarra, Denilson, Justin Hoyte, Alex Song, Eduardo, Abou Diaby, Armand Traore and Lukasz Fabianski are all likely to feature at some point. While Eboue (ankle) also has a chance of playing.

Newcastle United fans will be limited to 2,700 tickets for the Magpies' visit to the Stadium of Light on Saturday, November 10. The limit has been proposed amid fears about away fans standing in the all-seater ground. The derby game, which kicks off at 12.45pm to cut down on pre-match drinking, is being televised.

Not sure on that, we seemed to play much better when Smith went up front yesterday, surely that hasn't gone unnoticed.
-
I'd play Smith and Martins up top.

Seems a bit ridiculous really, especially with us having a Saturday lunchtime game too.
