Not one to admit sneaking in, but Ive been in a few times :D. Its ok, has TV's and a nice little sitting area to chill during half time. I personally prefer to stand on the concourse and have a natter about the first half.

I thought Shearer knacked himself after we'd sold him (or had already agreed a fee).

From SSN =========================== Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan has no plans to allow goalkeeper Shay Given to leave the club. Republic of Ireland international Given, 32, has been a pillar of consistency since he arrived at St James' Park in 1997. His impressive displays have seen him often linked with a transfer away from Tyneside, with Arsenal the latest club reportedly lining up an offer. However, Given recently reiterated his commitment to Newcastle amid the speculation surrounding his future. Crazy summer And, in a bid to quell the lingering rumours, Keegan is adamant he would not be willing to part company with his first-choice shot-stopper should he receive a bid. He told the club's official website: "All the talk of Shay leaving, you're going to get that with players because we're in that crazy summer, as I call it, when the press are after stories all the time. "Of course, they don't always have to be true stories, it can just be fabricated - an insider was heard to say is a favourite story in the paper at that time of year. "But why get rid of a top class player? We're looking to bring them in to play alongside the ones we've already got."

That coupled with Krul/Foster/Sodeburg we are pretty much covered for future keepers as all of them have got massive potential. Time to bring some new blood on perhaps?? Man Shitty didnt do too badly using younguns?

Heard nothing of the sort from where I was stood. The massive bout of laughter when Shola missed that sitter was hillarious mind. That was funny. I have never seen so many supporters just collapse in laughter like they did then. Might not have been the same reaction in a competitive game. Amused by the following extract from the Chronicle report: "And Ameobi – who was given a superb reception from the visiting fans - was also introduced for the second period with Martins making way." TBH I thought the fans were sending him up. Hope it doesn't give the club or Ameobi any ideas about the fans being desperate for him to stay. Aye...I thought we were taking the piss? Especially with the "If Shola scores...were on the pitch...If Shola scores...were on the pitch" chant doing the rounds.

Just got back...hillarious game. Football was poor but as expected. Guthrie looked decent, Duff was the same as usual, just managed to bag some goals, Smith was sh1te as normal. Rest of the team were ok. The songs where brilliant from start to finish, the Hartlepool fans must think we are off our tits. The game got so lethargic at the end that everyone was singing songs about seagulls!!!
