Toon Two Miss Mersey Trip
By Craig Hope
NEWCASTLE United will be without defensive duo Steven Taylor and Jose Enrique for Sunday's trip to Liverpool.
Taylor suffered a reoccurrence of an ankle injury during last month's defeat at Spurs and remains sidelined.
Meanwhile, Enrique pulled up with a hamstring problem against Portsmouth on Monday and he too will not travel to Merseyside.

"I understand why the manager was frustrated because he had to change his plans," said Martins. "But I woke up in so much pain that I knew I could not give 100%, so I decided I couldn't play. I didn't want to let the team down. And, with so many important games coming up, I needed to think about staying fit for the future."

A win is neither crucial nor likely.
A draw is probably what we'll get. That puts us just 2 behind Sunderland assuming they lose to ManU. Not a horrible situation to be in.
True but remember that Sunderland's next 2 fixtures are Hull at home and WBA away
And?
