Just me or does the commentator sound like a 14 year old boy in his bedroom talking over the tv? -

Ive only just started watching so whats the trophy all about? -
Houghton's over-rated. Hughton is the real brains in the operation. Bugger how did I manage that lol
-
Very happy if this goes through ok and I think he would be a great choice for captain. Well done Houghton!

Not allowed more than one on the shirt in the Premier League. Thankfully we didn't add any extra last season either. I wondering if that was a reason. I could just imagine a sports direct logo on the back of our shirt if Ashley and co. had their way.
-
I didnt think the toon army bit was as bad as people have said and luckily its only small. Atleast we dont have a sponsor on the back of our shirts like Norwich and many other lower league teams have.
-
From where I was sat it was his only mistake in a pretty good game for him otherwise.
-
I can just see Shola doing that and tripping over his own legs lol
-
I have to say after finally getting to see the new shirts up close at the Norwich game yesterday I was impressed with the blue one it looks lots lots better than I had imagined and Im now quite tempted to get it with Ameobi on the back. Hopefully the home shall be similar.
-
Plenty of room to fit Jose Enrique on the back then. Thats the only positive I can find.
-
the toonarmy bit is s***, but i guess a hundred thousand others will have the same thing on their tops so its not like i'll be the same as some t*** in a jester hat! the crest i think works alright... seems to be the norm on football kits these days Im glad Im not the only one who thinks people in jester hats look like twats. Maybe in person the crest might look better or grow on me aslong as its not bloody wonky.
-
Cheers for the photos. Now Ive seen it up close Im even less convinced about the sewn on badge especially what it must look like on the away or home shirts. I wasn't too worried about the toon army on the neck but now Ive seen it I think it looks awfully tacky. This really maybe the first season I dont but a shirt since 94.

I was about to ask the same as I live in a hell hole in Lincolnshire that doesnt have a good sport shop around. Which part of Lincolnshire mate?? Sleaford and I don't get to Lincoln very often to check in the Sports Direct there.

Im certainly up for this especially if the funds go to Sir Bobbys Fund. Great idea
-
Is it wrong that this home shirt that I hated so much at first sight is now starting to grow on me?
-
Definately the best since the 95 classic I would say. Im very tempted to buy one of the old home shirts with the champions embroidery instead of getting any of the new puma rubbish.
-
Look familiar??? http://www.acasports.co.uk/images/products/full/puma-powercat-1.10-shirt-ls.jpg Just shows how little thought went into our shirts. They are just generic sunday league shirts with a stuck Newcastle crest.

I couldn't agree more. I would agree it is over priced, but I never go a season without buying the home top so I will be having this. Im usually the same but this years is just terrible and I certainly wouldnt pay £45 for it.
