  1. I guess every member gets one chance to pretend to be ITK and gamble they’re right. I’ll use mine now. My sources indicate that premier league sign off will be granted on Tuesday.
  2. You could argue it the other way round too. Despite players having their moments (which they always will) he protected them and didn't allow them to implode.
  3. in this thread it has to be the latter. whoops got me there, almost made that tweet ambiguous/negative good save!
  4. I'm going all in. My sources (linked in) are suggesting that he worked as a consultant for David Sullivan during the purchase of West Ham United. During this time I believe (I'm making this bit up) that he gained some contacts with the people within the premier league that perform these tests.

  6. Out of all the articles that’s been written, this is the most laughable and most obviously clickbait of them all. An article written by a third party using us to highlight their own issue. I’m not going to be on the side defending a fucking daily star article for those incapable of understanding why I posted that. To be explicitly clear I’m posting this to highlight that some of the reasons that have been posted here as to why the premier league may approve are being reported.

  8. Yeah pretty much. It’s nice that there are starting to be articles like this though. They’re about as interesting as the constant bashing ones but at least they bring a bit of balance.
  9. Are you’ll listening premier league? https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/roma-chiefs-make-contact-saudi-22029593 Daily star I know but it highlights a point a few have made regarding why the premier league would want to approve for financial reasons.
  10. On the positive side Ashley is now suffering our pain and is also irritated.
  11. I think the latter but I'm just aware that posters have felt like it is a clique and has driven them away. I was just highlighting to them how that could be perceived. All I did was to suggest that there can be some bias in the press depending on reporters own views. I ended up being portrayed as someone who thinks every negative article is due to an agenda. Not everything is black and white. I'll step away from this discussion now. As I think I made my point quite clearly. If others read that as something else that's on them.
  12. I feel like words are being put in my mouth. read what I've written and compare it to sentences like this " and that the media are just pretending to hate murderers as a cover for their hatred of Newcastle United, then you're a genuine danger to society and shouldn't be allowed out in public.". And I now have three members on me. Two moderators.
  13. Spot on. A another moderator agreeing with a moderator. Again don't believe in clique but in terms of optics...
  14. Are you two mates? I don't believe in the clique but it's stuff like this which makes people believe there is. Hopefully you're just agreeing with a random other person on a message board
  15. No I don't think that. Thats quite a strong view. I hope you're ok. I think: To believe that there is not bias in the press is naive. The believe there is a complete bias is paranoid. Every reporter has their own club, their own political views. These get expressed in the articles they write.
  16. Have you read Miguel Delanel (Chief football writer at @independent) tweets and compare his coverage of NUFC vs MUFC? Wow. One journo I reckon the media would love for this to go through, as it would create loads and loads of stories, both positive and negative ones, now and in the years to come. One example. Feel free to show us his tweets in favour of Manchester United being bought by them. No thanks. Feel free to look through his tweets yourself and come to your own conclusion. Ok. Conclusion reached. Cool. Not going to nit pick as you seem in the mood for an argument I'm trying to avoid them.

He's got himself into some ridiculous arguments with our fans on Twitter. He's really embarrassed himself to the point where I'd suspect his employers are having a word with him.
