are you in your teens ? (no i'm not grooming,it's just there's an alarming trend among recently pubesced males that if things aren't brilliant they are s***) No, been a long time since I was in my teens! I just think he is s***, simple as. (Got nothing to do with the fact that my wife fancies him) do you think he is prem standard or what level do you think he'd survive comfortably.........as a player, not by way of looks. Certainly don't think he is Premiership standard, unless the likes of WBA are to be considered. Cant think of many other PL teams that he would get a place in....can you?

What the fuck has angus deayton got to do with this thread
-
Dunno if this has been said earlier in the thread, but I think that, after his excellent service, he deserves a move to a club where he has a chance to win the medals he so deserves. He aint gonna win anything with us, and he would be extremely difficult to replace, but as a pro, he has been outstanding, and I for one, would understand totally if he were to leave for a club that matches his quality (i.e. Arsenal, NOT, Spurs). I have never seen one of our players get a standing ovation from the away fans as he came on the pitch for the 2nd half as Shay got against Liverpool on Sunday. I am sure they wish he played for them, instead of Reina, who is prone to the odd howler. I don't want him to go, but would be pleased for him if he went to one of the 'Big 4' (anyone else would be unnacceptable!)

Aye, he was dead nice with us.

I know I am a bit late posting this, but at the beginning of August this year, about 7pm on a Sunday, me, my wife and he kids were flying to Turkey on our hols, and we were upstairs at Newcastle airport killing some time. Me and my son, who is 16, were wandering around when we saw 2 lads sitting in tracksuits. As we walked past, I saw the Ajax logo on their tracksuits. We looked at each other as if to say "eh? Who are they?" A moment or two later a few more of them came wandering into the lounge area. Dan, my son, says "Its Klass Jan Huntelaar!!" I then realised that Ajax had been playing Scumderland in a pre-season friendly. We were quite excited (I know, I should be mature at 40, but I am not ) and a bit starstuck. He is always on FM and knows a canny bit more about European football than me, and was naming loads of players as they came up the stairs. They were all sitting round, listening to their iPods or talking to each other. I did recognise Rommedahl, Sno, Gabri and a few others when who should come in but Albert Luque! I laughed as I said "Look, there's Luque", which must have been a bit loud as he looked over and smiled, maybe because Dan had his Toon shirt on. They hung around the cafe a bit, and Dan was chuffed to see Oleguer, who had only just signed for them from Real Madrid (? I think..). Luque was nearby, so we went and had a bit crack with him, and I have to say, he was a genuinely nice guy. You might have thought that, after the way things went at the Toon, that he wouldn't want to see another Newcastle fan again, but he was really canny. The best bit for me was when their manager came up. "Fuck me" I thought. "Its Marco Van Basten!" One of the greatest footballers ever was there! Dan got his photo taken with Van Basten, Huntelaar and Luque and Gabri together. I did ask Huntelaar when he was gonna sign for us, and he smiled and said "you never know.." (Maybe after Real Madrid? Kinnear was a bit slow with that one) One of their directors came past as well, with a bad limp (I assumed he was one of the directors, as he was in suit with the club badge on the pocket, while everyone else was on tracksiuts). Both me and my wife recognised him as a famous ex-pro, but didn't know his name. Anyone got any ideas? About 5'10" ish, thick set, maybe in late 50's now. Thought he was either Dutch or German international. Must have beeen famous for my wife to recognise him as well. Any suggestions? It was a great start to our holidays, and I make no apologies for behaving like a starstruck teenager. I know that was a few months ago, but I did lose a bit of interest in NUFC recently, so didn't think anyone else would be interested in this either...

Nearly. After beating the 10th man he stood on the ball, wappd out his I-Phone and MSN'd Jamie and his hos. His celebration was absolutely amazing Who would of thought he would take out his love truncheon and give the poor keeper a lil slap. Ahh! That explains his booking! You must've left early you bombaclart... It wasn't a yellow card that the ref brandished, 'twas a banana. Dutty then screamed ''BANANA TYYYMMM!11!!" and about 2,000 bitches and ho's stormed the pitch in what has gone down in history as the first naked mud-wrestling pitch invasion. And yet Shola still strolled around looking disinterested This thread gets better and better

Give us a cheer, Give us a cheer, We've got Joe Kinnear! :colo:

I agree. Just shows how bad it is at the moment.

Been calling him Titus Taylor for a while now, I think he is a liability. A player who thinks he is a lot better than he actually is.

Very good point. Can Llambias even speak fucking english? cunt. All it tells us in fact is that Shepherd remains a gobshite that talks too much even to this day, and that Llambias is keeping his cards close to his chest. Maybe if he didn't keep his cards close to his chest and spoke to the fans more (as Mort did) then maybe he would have more respect from us than he has at the moment.

We have heard a lot more from our former chairman this last couple of weeks than we have from our current one!
-
The way I heard it is that these were very recent events Fucking hell. Our ex Chairmans communication with the fans is shite !
