I'm seriously shaking here in front of the telly. Had 4 cups of coffee though which might explain it.

Løvenkrands My optimism just dropped.

More like poor Portugal. Denmark played them out of the stadium in their last qualification match. But still, Holland and Germany will propably go through. denmark/portugal games have a bit of recent history for being very good iirc. edit. just found one of the games i was thinking of. a proper qualifying game, portugal at home and 2-1 up after 86mins....denmark win 3-2. i thought it was last year...it was 2008. Yes, they have been in the same group for both the last WC-qualifier and this EURO-qualifier - with Denmark as group winners on both times. The games are usually very good, so group B will most likely be good entertainment as Germany and Holland plays attacking football as well.

QPR. Mainly because my younger brother supports them and he's a nice fella.

The taped hand is because he hit the wall in the hotel room, according to Danish media. However, they say nowt about if he injured himself in an attempt to hit Bendtner or he just felt like hitting the wall.

In the stomach and his shoulder apparantly... dunno why his arm is taped My favourite part of the story is that the Danish FA tried to bribe the victim with a signed Bendtner shirt - and it actually worked until the Danish FA made a public announcement where talked shite about the victim and he went to the press with the full story. Classy as fuck!

Swedish and Tottenham fan. Urgh. Better than a Norwegian Newcastle fan. Yuk. What is it with those Norwegians hating all other Scandinavians? It's a Mackem-esque obsession!

I don't think we are allowed to link directly, but look at Newsnow. It's one of the first links/news about NUFC.

I remember listening to the Tuesday club and they were talking about the psychology expert Wenger gets in to test his players. Bendtner has the highest self confidence rating of anyone he's ever recorded in something like 30 years I read an interview in a Danish paper with the expert. He told that whenever Bendtner miss a chance or a pass he genuinely believe that it's not his own fault .

 ...I'm well biased in hating him because he's both Danish and playing for Sunderland, though. But still. What's wrong with being Danish? I get that your Norwegian and all, but I'm Danish and I don't hate Norwegians. ...but again, maybe that's because we always beat you

That's actually not a bad goal-ratio for us. The problem with him is that he doesn't really contribute with much else. Even though I'm a Dane myself, I wouldn't complain at all if we got rid.
-
Yup, he'll probably start against both the Manchester teams, where we will play more of a 4-5-1.
-
He did well last night, but he needs to put in a few more performances like yesterday and against Blackburn to make up for that gutless performance last season at West Brom.

Surprises me, the way their stadium is built lends itself to amplifying the sound... So their stadium is very loud on paper?

Thought he was irish

There is, the old gadgey on my tour said there is a slope, it's quite evident if you're standing in the dugout and look at the angle of the advertising hoardings (not the new digital ones, the ones on the front of the stands). This. It's not the only stadium in England, though. 3 ft slope towards the Gallowgate End, I was told this Monday on a stadium tour.
