I liked that he put his booing down to injuries and not getting us into the champions league. No michael it was because we got relegated and when we needed our captain to atleast put in some sort of effort you couldn't be fucked.

Off the ball he is lightening quick. But on the ball he really stuggles to show his speed, which is a shame because he isnt a bad dribbler at all. Just needs an ounce of Ben Arfa's confidence and it would do wonders for him.

The problem was that he rarely plays against players who are quicker than him but he had two yesterday in Lennon and Walker.

He always takes a game or two to get into full terminator. Still relieved he stayed on the pitch after the injury in the first minute.

Seems ridiculous that he dislikes playing there so much considering we are a much better "team" in that formation. Don't see why he and Cisse cannot switch from time to time.

Today was the first time I thought the kit looked class. Maybe it was just seeing Ben Arfa doing his thing in it.

Alot of people naming cisse but he looked as tired as anyone today. So if we want him for chelsea i doubt he will be able to feature in this game. I think this will be game where we try to just get through and then play a stronger team in the home leg. Which is quite risky i guess but i think our "B-team" is stronger this season.
