http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/9163/aaaauz.jpg Christ I had to go on there to see when dave mentioned toontastic. How childish is that? running to another forum to take the piss out of someone. It's hardly like everyone backed the idea anyway?

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143
alexf replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
Got shit manager and now shit kits to look forward to next season too. Great -
I don't think the ball was in the area when he went for it. Which made his decision to catch it rather than head/kick/knee it out even more bizarre. Harsh from the ref, no surprise there, as I don't think he could see it but I do think he was outside the area.
-
I'm still holding out hope until there is some form of official statement saying he is staying. Silence is still a positive for me at this moment as there is still a chance they are considering a replacement. (ignoring the chronicle for the time being as there is no substance)
-
Still not convinced Neymar is going to kick on and be the amazing player he is said to become. Think Ronaldo(original) was saying a year or two ago that he really needs to move to europe to reach a higher level.
-
Hope Willo didn't get too excited in that position.

It looks like they're all bulling him When Ozil wouldn't move for him Bless

Agree TRC. Don't think people have much ground to slag Pardew off if they are not willing to voice their displeasure in some way. Whether it makes us look a bit silly or not there needs to be some form of evidence that Pardew does not have the full backing of the fans. So far he has had an incredibly easy ride from the press etc
-
It's going to be interesting. Arsenal is the first game the fans can really have a go at him without it affecting our premier league status. So I'm interested to see whether they have been holding back or if the majority of matchday fans do infact want him out and it's not just the majority on here.
-
I still want to see the original context because I keep hearing that it was a joke. It's just in no way funny whatever the context.
-
Did fans really chant "Pardew give us a wave" yesterday? I really can't understand this at all. We were hanging on for a 1:2 for the entire 2nd half. We were incredibly negative and only through QPR's incompetence did we win yesterday and yet people were cheering for Pardew? Don't get it at all.
-
Getting rid of Pardew far outweighs any potential embarrassment that a protest would bring us in my opinion. Sure we might be ridiculed by the press for a bit but so what if it meant Pardew was gone and we could go into next season with a bit of hope. The other argument is that a protest will do fuck all to sway Ashley/Llambias I would assume.
-
Agreed. Arsenal is the last opportunity to show what we think of Pardew because then it's the summer and he can brush this season under the carpet and start his absolute bullshit PR once more about how we're going to be better and have the "perfect set piece" again etc
-
All this at the same time Rafa Benitez has asked his agent to get him a job in England for next year as he's desperate to stay. Could be a massive missed opportunity.
-
I know it's not how things should be done but I would really like to see a protest against him against Arsenal if he hasn't already gone. I know it's cringe-worthy and all that but personally don't think we can go on with him. I can't face another season with him as manager it will be too much.
-
Points deduction after those comments?
-
Just attack them FFS we can bury this if we just attack.

Regards the whole contract situation. I think it's similar to what Redknapp said his was at Tottenham. It was heavy weighed so that anyone wanting him (england?) would have to pay full whack but it was cheapish to sack them. Now Redknapp could have been lying as he is known to but I'm with others in that I refuse to believe for a second that we would have to fully pay off Pardew's contract as that would make Ashley, in terms of business, a complete idiot which he isn't.

QPR vs Newcastle Utd - 12/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV) - a win confirms safety
alexf replied to TaylorJ_01's topic in Football
Just go out and win lads please. It's not a big ask for us to get 2 away wins in an entire season. -
Not that it will come to that but can totally see Norwich getting something at City after today. Manager is getting sacked and players don't care.

Nar Kenwright just didn't trust Moyes with the money

What if Everton suddenly start spending money :frantic:
