Real shame he got injured just for the fact that he was an alternative for both Obertan and Jonas on either wing. His injury seemed to coinside with Jonas' dip in form. A little bit like how Jonas started playing really well when he had competition for his place from Ben Arfa last season and then when he got injured there was no worry of him getting dropped for anybody.

Seems like that classic 6 month thing people always talk about from the media. Team outside top 5 have a decent player? talk up a move to man u/chelsea/tottenham/arsenal/liverpool. We've seen it just this season already with Ba, Tiote, Krul and Coloccini. Last season it was Carroll and Enrique. Not just us either, same with all the other clubs in and around us except with us there is always the concern than everyone is for sale.

Feels like this is a trial run of the side that we might see in the league from now on. Pardew said along time ago that Abeid could be the one to cover Tiote and makes sense to try him in a game like this against i possible weakened blackburn team than in the league.

I haven't confronted anybody for racism as I haven't heard any. Last season some kids told me that some bloke 5 or 6 rows back had tried to spit on them and had hit me. I checked the back of my jacket and they were right, he had spat one my jacket. I took my jacket off and climbed over 5 or 6 rows of seats to get at that bloke and basically threatened to rip his head off, I was really p*ssed off at the time and had lost all self control. A Steward came up and asked what had happened and I told him and he went up and said something to them, they didn’t re-appear at any other game and they had been at all of the games up to that point so I don’t know if they were banned or just thought better of coming back. I followed him and his two kids’ (mid 20’s) out of the ground and onto Barrack Road and again threatened him but the three of them bottled it which I’m glad about as I would have only ended up getting nicked. What's this stuff about Tony Pulis and Gillingham? Seems to be some serious beef between him and the Gillingham chairman?

He was alright at right wing except for when he and simpson tried to pass between themselves. I counted atleast 3 times where they were playing basic passes to eachother and ended up giving it away.
