Really impressive. Doesn't look out of place at all and given his age that is a big deal. Those highlights above showcase the growing confidence the team have in him aswell and not afraid to give him the ball. That little reverse round the corner link up with Isak late on. Looked a damn sight more athletic today aswell, seems to eat up ground well with that long stride.

Thought Pope was better with his kicking today. Combined with his prowess in shot stopping he will be a big miss.

Defo got Ten Hag's number now. That's 3 in a row. Shame the cup final came before that, when we were in a rough patch of form, but since then he has totally bossed his opposite number
-
That was fantastic. All it was lacking was abit more composure in final passes or shots. Should have been a comfortable 3 or 4 nil. But of course it got slightly nervous towards the end once we inevitably tired. Thought we would run out of steam a lot sooner to be fair. But we bossed that midfield all game. Only ones with any credit for Man U were Shaw and Maguire. Would have been absolute robbery if they had got something from the game.

Superb yet again (every single game he's played so far) Really starting to show his attacking ability as well. That acceleration he has is massive for our team and especially our back line. Allows the others to push up and let him mop up.
-
You scored 3 goals with 3 shots on goal or something against Everton. You win games despite not playing well according to most.
-
As usual with Man U, they have pace on the counter and are usually quite clinical. So if we play smart and restrict their ability to counterattack then I think our midfield dominates them. However all depends on how well the players have recovered from Tuesday and can play with energy.

Was fantastic don't remember a single error by him. Schar on the other hand was uncharacteristically making a lot of strange decisions and passes.
-
Yeah 8 mins was fucking bullshit. Ok we took our time with goal kicks etc like any away team in Europe. So maybe 5 mins would be fair but 8? When we made zero subs, no long injury delays and no long VAR checks. You just knew there was gonna be some fuckery once we got into the last few mins.
-
Superb again. Never seem to doubt he's gonna get a toe on the ball or body Infront of player. His little bursts of acceleration tonight aswell were really promising. Showed he has a lot more to give from an attacking perspective, but defensively was flawless again. Didn't deserve to be on the receiving end of such a rank decision.
-
I think just having any subs to bring on to help see games out would be a positive right now. I don't forsee any returns in the immediate bar maybe Longstaff but they haven't revealed how bad his injury truly is yet. Fingers crossed we could do with his energy for Man Utd ?

Sods law there are 8 fucking fixtures in December, more than any other month in the season, when we are at breaking point with injuries with no relief in sight. I dunno how we are gonna do it but if we can somehow hang in there... The 2nd half of the season if we get our squad back together is gonna be fruitful.
-
Man U (h) Everton (a) Spurs (a) Milan (h) All in next 11 days or so with the exact same squad? Fuck man this is gonna be mega tough. To get any results and avoid further injuries will be a miracle.
-
Yeah saw the graphic after the game tonight. Needing to play this, then Everton away, followed by spurs away before the big Milan game. Likely with the exact same 11 needed for all 4? Would take some kind of miracle to get results and avoid more injuries.

Those decisions are soft as shite. Wolves must think there is a conspiracy against them this season. It's been more or less every game for them.
-
When was it that there were strong rumours Ashley wanted him to take over as manager here? Was it before Kinnear? Loved Euro 96. Was probably my first strong memory of football as a young kid.

It's a real shame that we have to almost choose between this game and Man U. I mean in theory we could go for both, but asking the same 11 to play almost full 90 mins in 3 tough games in a week, especially people like Isak returning from a long lay off and someone we can't afford to breakdown again by pushing too far. But the problem is, who the hell can we play instead. I am genuinely in the dark about what squad Eddie can put out Tuesday and what options he has to rotate during the game. Advantage Man U by default unfortunately. Only silver lining is they need to win their game midweek also, but their squad is looking healthier than ours currently. No doubt, if we could field the same team we had Vs Chelsea as a bare minimum and the players were fresh enough, we could still win. But with this PSG game sandwiched inbetween and with no way to rotate anyone I think it's going to be a tough ask next weekend.

Both play suicidal high lines.

I think we were all over them for large spells first half aswell. Was only our own mistake that lead to a soft free kick and goal. Great save from Pope at 1:1 from Enzo but apart from that you could just tell their only weapon was to try and hit Sterling in the counter. There were spells where they couldn't get out and we just swarmed them. Shame Joelinton didn't bury that chance because we deserved to be ahead first half also, plus Tripps crossbar freekick.
-
He does ooze class. I was just praying all game that he didn't pull up. We desperately need him to remain fit now. Made such a difference having a recognised striker back after the last few games. Wonder if he starts PSG or of Eddie tries to manage his minutes and ease him back in.
-
Nah he never had the angle to bend it past Rice, and his team mate was coming on to it with acres of space. I get strikers instinct is to shoot but chances of scoring were way higher if he passed.

Also Arsenal blatantly time wasting from their own corners. Surely not, only we are the awful dark arts offenders according to them.
