You might have seen something along the lines of being in like Colorado but not being able to watch the main network (CBS, FOX, NBC) broadcast for the Patriots because the Broncos get local precedent. They still do that for sure. But you can watch every game with the NFL package now. The straight up blackout rule (for our English brothers, there had to be a certain % of tickets sold for it to be broadcast) went away a bit ago.

Whatever our situation is, it sounds wildly better than over there.

I’m a YouTube TV guy like Kanji. But my Peacock app has every match as far as I know? I could just watch it all through there. Although I prefer when the match is on USA where there is slightly less of a delay.

I’d prefer that it was kept in house. Like could you imagine Eddie pulling that? Never. I think there will be some love lost amongst him and the players (unless Gio was some absolutely spoiled shit and pissed everyone off) and he may not be able to continue. It’ll be interesting to see what happens for sure. Purely performance based? Not totally sure if he needs to go or not. I don’t feel much about it either way.

For the Chelsea match before the World Cup, we had about 40-50 Newcastle fans at the bar here watching the match. That’s up from about six people at the end of last season. We’re going to be massive. Everyone’s working at Foot Locker now.

I’d argue that’s a pretty entitled “this team doesn’t deserve to win it” kind of view. Very much in the vein of Liverpool fans thinking in the Prem. That they have some divine right to be at the top/champions. A new team winning it, from a continent that has never won it? That’s magic, man. Insane, wild, generational defining magic. Everyone will know their starting XIs name after this.
