Absolutely zero pace on the ball though. Hard to generate power from that. I don’t think it’s as shocking as people are making out.

Also has to be said, Wood is winning so many flick ons to absolutely no one. Need the lads up front to take more gambles on him winning them.

Lads are well up for this. Not a ton of quality on display but we’ve been the better side.

Will be a bummer not to see Bruno start but think it'll kick the lads in midfield up the ass a bit knowing he's sitting on the bench ready to come on and show them all up. I think Burn will be on the bench too but not rushed into the starting XI due to the toe infection.

Hopefully on a through-ball so I can stop hearing about how Wood isn't able to get on the end of any through-balls (even though most of his goals are scored with his feet and not his head).

I think Castore working with the new owners will eventually be class. We'll be the standout brand for them.

Worrying developments for sure, but we haven't seen the style of play with the new lads in yet. It might end up being a system that eventually really works to Gayle's favor, might bring more goals from dudes like ASM and Fraser, Willock or Miggy might be way further up the pitch adding to the goals. That being said, we should've definitely brought in another striker.

Was thinking the same. This will be the kind of transfer we’ll be back in for in the summer when we stay up. Probably even have personal terms pretty much sorted with players like Botman/Carlos/Bakker/etc.

To be honest, unless Big Joe performs at an insane level for the rest of the season, I don’t think he should be anywhere near the starting eleven next season after a recruitment drive.

Clark would do so well in the MLS. Liam Ridgewell became a legend at Portland ffs. Would love to see Clark end up in MLS.

I know I keep banging this particular drum, but we have dropped 21 points from winning positions this season - before the transfer window too - so I think it’s safe to say that with the new boys we can win matches like this one. Howay the fucking lads y’all.
