  1. I love on the MLB.tv over here in the States that you can switch from the broadcast audio feed to the radio feed, but still watch the broadcast video. You get the best of both worlds.

    Alan Smith

Smith makes in a week what the Orlando players make in a year, if they are lucky. I'd imagine most of them make about 50-70k a year max.

No one is "forced" to write a transfer request...
  4. Don't particularly want him here or think it's a good buy, I've just always had a feeling he'd end up here.
  5. Wouldn't be surprised if Crouch ended up here tbh. Always had a feeling he would wear the black and white as some point.
  6. Check out the weather forecasts of both areas and tell me if you'd make the same choice Live in Orlando so I know the weather forecast quite well
  7. Thought 100k was a shitload of money until I read this part: "But Ashley was so angered with Enrique's rant that he immediately ordered Pards to dish out a two-week fine." Must be so hard being a footballer. Doing what you love in front of thousands/millions of fans around the world while making 100k every two weeks - if not more. Hard to feel pity for them and their contract situations to be honest.
  8. Had to stop reading that Man U piece after the three possible managers mentioned to take over after SAF as Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, and Carlos Quieroz.
  9. Go to Orlando on a severely truncated salary and play against shit opposition or run down the last year of your legal contract with the possibility of playing in the Premier League? I know which I'd choose.

Is that we've made £53m more than we've spent? Wow Of which over 65% of came in one transfer - last January. Stats can tell any story you want.
  11. Yep. Enrique is better than what we could achieve even if we spent the £35m. Agreed on both counts. The only problem is the basis of this entire debate is on what Enrique has said and the way people interpret it themselves. Does he want to be in a top four team or does he want to be in a team suggesting to him that they are pushing for the top four? We're all debating about the same subject but coming at it with a 100 different interpretations and angles. There's a huge grey area here where the truth actually lies.
  12. Yup. They are usually sponsor booths though (or all-inclusive, pricier tickets) - big companies will buy them and just wine and dine people there during the match. Snuck into one when I saw the Montreal Impact play a few years ago. Free booze the entire time, never checked for any credentials. Was a great match and actually sold my dad on football.

    Sunderland...

Have to give him some credit for being the only one with enough balls to jump over here and post only to get lambasted with every post.

Not that I think Shola is behind Best in the striking order, but either way Shola will get plenty of minutes on the pitch over the course of the season I am sure.
  15. About half way through that interview the graphics stop saying Newcastle and start saying NewCastle.
  16. "certainly one, maybe two more signings to come in" - AP

    Alan Smith

Can see the headlines now: "English legend Darren HuckerbyAlan Smith signs for the San Jose EarthquakesOrlando City Soccer Club"
  18. Smith loves Orlando to be fair. One of his best mates lives here apparently.
  19. "Mario Balotelli subbed after 30 minutes after going clean through then trying to backheel the finish - Angry exchanges with Mancini"
  20. Still there for me. Also, I'd rather he just shut up and run out his contract or sign a new one. Those are the two best options for us as fans/the club. His heart is elsewhere now but he's still a fantastic left back and we really need him this season.

    Copa América

Wish we had people who played like Perez there.

He's still got it. I would love to see him in the Prem, I think he's built for it.
