The new Molde FK 2011 Centenary kits look awesome. Another reason we should've gone with Umbro. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/10/11-kits/molde-fk-2011-centenary-umbro-retro-kit.html http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/9427/moldefk2011centenaryret.jpg

This. I don't mind Routledge on the wing as their left-back is their second-choice and I would fancy Routledge against him.
-
It gets worse in the other club's transfers thread.
-
One bad match (where no one played well) and people are tempted to sell Williamson
-
Mediocre. Which was on the better side than most of the squad.
-
If we're going to pay that much I'd rather get Donovan out of MLS tbh.
-
Thanks. Trying to use that fact (in a historical sense) in a debate against retiring numbers in football.
-
I haven't been watching football for all that long but I have a historical question. Does anyone know around when people stopped having numbers based on their position/name on the team sheet and started to have their own personal numbers that they wanted?

He's going to get targeted and brought down on hard, even though it was a pussy slap.

Barton's shove was hardly that bad. It was open handed, it wasn't even a punch. Pedersen has made a meal of it though. Overall, what a tired performance from our boys today. So many little mistakes all over the pitch which I'll chalk down to just being mentally tired. We needed to freshen the team up for this match and it has cost us. Really just poor performances all over the park today. Next match.

If he's already getting into the England squad while playing at Newcastle, why move elsewhere? A lot of players will move to the "big four" to try and get call-ups - he's already getting his.
-
And Nolan. For years, England and Newcastle have been synonomous with squads of gutless tossers. Nolan helped change that with us, I reckon he could do it for his country too and is worth a spot in the 22. Would back him to come on and win the game against any team in the world ahead of someone like Milner in the last 15 minutes of a quarter final, too... Agree. Capello needs to start picking the best team, not just star players with good reputations and buddies with the media. He could build a great team but would get absolutely slaughtered in the press if people like Rooney/Lampard/Gerrard weren't in the squad - even for friendlies.

Brilliant video. Love the shot when you first walk in and see the beautiful patch of green. Didn't realize so many cops were out on derby day, although it makes sense.
-
By the time he's back we will have changed playing styles/formations at least twice I'd reckon. People will sniff us out with this current formation and we'll have to move on - that's just the way football works.

Is Mike Ashley steering Newcastle United in the right direction?
cubaricho replied to LooneyToonArmy's topic in Football
Pretty much this. I think he should be letting his actions do the talking. -
There is no evidence of Keegan really having anything to do with this signing other than "Hey Chris go to the Netherlands and do some scouting at these matches." If there were more evidence I would have no problem giving credit where it's due but to suggest that Keegan is the reason Tiote is at this club is ridiculous.
-
I can't believe there are people trying to give Keegan credit for this signing.
-
Just imagine him playing instead of Nolan. Awesome.

Any signing that Chris wants is a signing I want -
I'd go for pace in this match. We're probably not going to beat them in the air so we need people who will beat them for pace.
-
Surely they'd have put some sort of promotion wage rise in it though? Otherwise, there's no incentive on him to get us up at the first attempt. What? Just because he wasn't going to get extra money?
-
Don't think I've ever really heard Tim Krul talk like that before. Definitely one of those foreigners with an odd accent mix.

Look about seven posts above yours.

It's schoolboy couture, tbh. Negative, ghost rider. The v-neck definitely compliments the entire look.
