I'm thinking that if Marseilles is willing to sell right now (or in January) that we should take the offer and buy this guy. I think the risk is outweighed by the possibility that he'll still be as good.

Bale is exactly what England need. What a shame.
-
tbh I think if Carroll and Shola actually form a good partnership it's Nolan who gets dropped. Ben Arfa Tiote Barton Jonas Shola Carroll Obviously though it depends on who's fit/in form when he comes back.
-
I think the downside is that he won't be a Newcastle player at the start of next season.

Gotta be the Spuds now, Rafa doesn't really figure into our "life" any more.
-
Talk about putting your body on the line.

Face it, we're not in the "big four" so we're not going to get the best coverage. It's fucking wank but it's the truth.
-
He was also kind of shying away from the ball, more afraid of getting hit than anything (human nature). Could've had more conviction when coming for it but like I said earlier today, I doubt it's a mistake he'll make again.

Will definitely take a draw here but I would take losing if we had a real go of it.
-
Would love to see a big group of them celebrating at a place like the pub (not that footballers go to pubs anymore).
-
That's what I was picturing probably happening at the time.
-
Let's hope it's in black and white.

Not a chance. Agreed. He'll have to prove it for a longer period of time than most people.

At the top of left when you reply, there is a ImageShack toolbar, you use that and then copy and paste the URL of the image between the img tags.

Was just about to come post this myself actually. Barton went on to say he's kind of like "look, that offer's not good enough, let me prove that I think it needs to be better" It's a shame Wor Chris is getting the run around.

I usually love watching Warren Barton on our Match Day programme but today was something special. About half way through his analysis he starts really trying to hold back a smile and says as much, something along the lines of "I'm really trying to stay un-biased, but I was loving this." Then the other guy on the panel asks him what it's like to play in one of these matches and he said his hair was standing up on the back of his neck watching the match and how he knows what Bigg Market looks like right now. It's really refreshing to have a black and white ex-player but more importantly fan who isn't afraid to show their feelings when breaking down a match like this.

I saw a clip on Sky but I wish we had some actual footage on youtube or something!
-
Tiote has totally opened up every other midfielder in our squad. His importance to this team should never be underestimated. Everyone has a more free roll because of his domination.
-
Simpson definitely has more pace than Taylor. Simpson was bombing down the touchline today.

Quality libel over on RTG:

Can't see any of these, anyone want to post them without hotlinking?

And on British TV (I think this is Sky) they haven't asked one question that wasn't about the rumours and him getting sacked. Awesome.
-
No conviction when coming for the ball on their goal. Really the only problem tonight though. Don't think he'll make that mistake again.
-
Awesome match. Fucking loved that. Never would've expected that when I woke up this morning.

I fucking love everyone in our squad right now, top to bottom. So happy.
