As I am Norwegian, it is a nice transfer for me, because then Newcastle would get more attencion in Norway. I have seen him quite a lot, playing for Norway and his earlier club Viking, and I would say he is solid enough to be a backup in Newcastle. He isn`t better than Taylor or Rozehnal at the moment.
