The Life and Times of 'Entertaining' Mario Balotelli
eliassenfredrik replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Football
I'm with you. Think a 4 game ban is kind of ridiculous. Now I know Balotelli is looked upon as the devil himself, and perhaps rightly so on some previous occasions, but swap him with, let's say Adam Jonhson. Would he get punished in the same fashion? Balotelli may be a cunt, but in this particular incident I genuinely believe FA got it wrong. -

No comment on Arshavin. Win and loose as a team blabla.

Are you joking? Did you see the force he brought his leg down with? It was disgusting and could have done some serious damage. Saw it multiple times in replay. Too easy to rip Balotelli apart just because he's Balotelli. As I've said, it looks worse in slow motion as it always does. But he's hardly STAMPING him in a violent manner, and imo it doesn't look deliberate. -

Groningen won, Milan and Udinese both 2-0 up. Rest of the games are later on. It's the hope that hurts. Your hcp's will cost you. -

Never a deliberate stamp. In slow mo it can perhaps look like it, but he lost his balance. Quite simple. -

What's even worse is that, despite how appalling he has been described on this thread, he's still 100000x the footballer any of us will ever be
-
Watch Raylor replace him.

Yep. When I see players like him and Obertan (just another example, chillax, there is still time for him.) on this level, I'm thinking; "The f***? So there really is hope for everyone." Then I think how sad it is that they get paid good money, plays for 50k every week, living the dream 'n stuff blablabla, and yet they have no skill, literary none. On top of that they're not interested or/and capable of putting in a minimum of effort to look like football players or at the very least athletes. f*** sake.

At this rate, I think in order for him to be dropped, he has to sit/lay down on the pitch for a couple of minutes, or go over to the bench and say: "I fucking stink, get me out of here man, Jesus"!
-
No. He grabbed Shola and made a run for it.
-
Absolutely no way he can be worse than Strolla.
-
The alternatives were... Loven and possibly Obertan? S'pose we could have played Vuckic. Pardew did say he was going to give Shola an extended run in the team. http://i.imgur.com/0pVW7.jpg

You know that slight feeling of embarrassment you got when you typed that out? Should listen to that feeling more often. Seconded. The last player to pick on today. At least gave an effort and got a goal + assist.

Well fuck, now we have to win at least the next couple of games to make up for this. Blackburn and Vila are very beatable.
