http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/fa-league-cups/pardew-ive-never-seen-a-goal-arfas-good-6286927.html? Pardew: I've never seen a goal Arfa's good Alan Pardew hailed Hatem Ben Arfa's goal as "the greatest I have ever seen" after the midfielder's equaliser reinvigorated Newcastle to beat Blackburn 2-1 on Saturday. Jonas Gutierrez won the game deep into injury time, lofting his effort over goalkeeper Mark Bunn, after Ben Arfa had levelled David Goodwillie's first-half goal with a sublime 70th-minute run and left-footed shot. Pardew, the Newcastle manager , said: "It's the greatest goal, in my opinion, I have ever seen with my eyes because just the technical part of it – to beat six players, to skip past people, left foot, right foot, cutback, accelerate, everything that was involved in it – it was an unbelievable goal. I am absolutely chuffed for him." Gutierrez also praised the French winger. "There was a lot of pressure on him because he has not played as much as he would have wanted. He wants to play more, so it was important for his confidence," said Gutierrez, whose side prevailed even without the star pair of Demba Ba and Cheick Tioté, who are away on African Cup of Nations duty. "We need all the players now more than ever," he added. "We don't have Cheick and Demba, so we need all the players focused, so it is really good for him to get the confidence."

f***ing Redknapp. What a c*** for saying those things in public. No class. Anyway, don't think Ba is leaving in January, but if he keeps banging them in during the remainder of the season staying injury free, clubs will be swarming around him like vultures. Depends on how money grabbing Ba is too, could well be a football whore.

To be fair a lot of people would agree with that with his recent performances, just timed the comment really badly He turned the corner a couple of games ago from his bad form. Obviously I didn't see the game today, but he's been bloody awful since October. You and your ludicrous love for him. he was our worst player against Man U imo Him and Ameobi stood out.
-
He'll still start against QPR, which will be embarrassing for Pardew.

Watch Obertan start this. -
Am I missing something? Why the fuck would Tiote want to go to Liverpool? If he were to move, surely he would go to one of the best clubs in the country or abroad to a similar quality team. Liverpool are light years from winning the league, and not contenders for 4th place imo.
