Andersen is such a good player and a better version of Schar (as harsh as that sounds) but paying anything north of 30 for him would be a waste, considering his age. Ideally we’d be getting someone with the same passing ability but younger and more pacey/ athletic; not sure who tbh, but anyone with that kind of profile wouldn’t come cheap.

I do like JWP and McTominay (to a lesser degree) but agree they’re not exactly improving on Rice with those additions. Although, as another poster has said, you can’t replace a player of Rice’s quality if you’re a team like West Ham. Their only hope would be to unearth a Caceido-like gem but that’s much easier said than done - especially without the proper scouting network.
