Think I read somewhere (a while ago) that he’s going to Sevilla. Should be all over that tbh.
-
Of course but they’re still under pressure to perform financially and their success is of bigger national importance than a successful football team?
-
Tbf unless we’re dealing with PIF directly on sponsorships(which I imagine is not allowed under PL rules) even Saudi companies are looking for “fair value”. Companies like Saudia and Aramco aren’t charities and won’t just throw money at us so we can win the league.

Dubravka is average imo. Henderson is younger, more commanding in the box and a better passer. For 15m, it’d be a very sensible move.
-
Or Diaby. Both players we ‘re linked with

Think if Sadio does leave, they should go for Bowen. He’s still (imo) slightly underrated and with a good few seasons at Liverpool he could become a bona fide star. Harrison is another unheralded player that I think would excel for them.
-
Still pretty pacy as well. Quality player; was excited when we were linked as the guy can play almost any position and do reasonably well.
-
Was gonna say . If he’s going, he’ll go for quite a bit more than Bruno. I reckon it’ll be 50m +
-
I said it before but I think N’Dicka will be something special. An athletic beast for sure but really poised and composed for a 22 year old.
-
I like him but (much like Nunez) he seems to be a little overhyped currently.
-
He’s like if Sissoko actually had a footballing brain. Good player.
-
Diaby is just as frustrating as St. Max but with arguably less raw ability (age is on his side though). Good player but we shouldn’t be spending over 30m for him imo.
-
I like Diego Carlos. Very good signing for them… again.
-
I wouldn’t say he’s particularly pacy tbh; faster than Bruno and a very good ball carrier though. Different types of player but imo he’s a more talented footballer than Bruno.

Where are these rumours about Bowen et al having medicals?
-
Maybe, but I know from experience that they won’t just hand their partners a blank checkbook for a project. Usual stuff; there will be a 5 year (or whatever) capital injection plan with (usually brutal) KPI targets etc. Doubt they’ll play it fast and loose like that but obviously this is a completely different venture.

Seems to be the case. If true, our owners either need to temper their ambitions or increase the budget as that’s mid-table outlay. Gradual improvement does seem sensible but obviously not as exciting. Or “it’s just a ploy to keep prices down”, which I’ve never really understood. Teams don’t just dole out discounts because you’re pretending to be skint.
-
Agree. I actually don’t mind Mings but he’d cost way more than than his ability warrants.
-
Those look great. Clean, simple and with an embroidered badge. Used to be impossible to get Newcastle kits in KSA, hopefully that’ll change as I really want one!
-
Unless things have changed massively for him in the last few months, he’s been pretty poor for ages. Another overpaid, overrated player that a faltering big team would love to dump on us so they can go ahead and buy the players we should actually be targeting.

Kamara is a dm or cb, Bissouma can play anywhere at cm.
-
I’m sure @Flip can testify (or indeed shit all over my opinion ) but he’s not the best defensively and is definitely more of an lwb/lm than an lb in a back 4. Absolutely slaughtered by Argentina in the Copa America; so much so that he needed psychologists because of how badly he was vilified by the Brazilian media. Bounced back very well tbf to him.

Apologies. I meant a league season
