Still holding out hope that we’ll get Rangnick tbh.
-
Qiddiya is obviously a “related party”though, so not sure how that gets approved under the Cartel’s proposed new rule changes?
-
He’ll be trying to get his philosophy across so I doubt he’ll start anyone that he hasn’t trained with extensively. I bet he’s gutted he didn’t have time to work with Lewis, Schar and Almiron as I think they are players that he could make the most difference with.

Would have taken Dean here (not necessarily over Howe, mind), very solid manager and great appointment by Norwich.
-
Would be funny to see him take them down.
-
I’d prefer a few of the other names over Emenalo, but to be honest he’s someone we couldn’t have dreamed of employing under our previous owner. In saying that, if he’s available, we should be doing everything we can to get Edwards in.

It’s getting ridiculous now. Shocking anti-competitive behaviour borne out of spite, jealousy and attempting to maintain the bent status quo. Potentially having lucrative sponsorship opportunities taken away from us is the exact kind of ladder-pulling bullshit that’s putting people off the Premier League. Closed shop nonsense.

I understand. Just a hypothetical though.
-
If reports are correct and we have 50 million to spend in the window. How would you lot spend it?
-
Yeah, very unrealistic; you’d imagine if he were to leave it would be to another Champions League team.
-
Can see Howe persevering with Joelinton in the Josh King role. Hopefully with a real manager coaching him we can begin to see why our scouts were so hot on him.
-
Happy with either Edwards or Emenalo.
-
Gallagher, Abraham, Lamptey/Aarons, Tarkowski, Diaz and Kamara would be amazing. Wouldn’t cost much over 250 million either I’d imagine.
-
I don’t think he’s high profile/good enough to be making demands with regards to a technical director tbh. He can, by all means try, but I doubt he’d be daft enough to let that be a deal-breaker. This is quite a decent opportunity for him to pass up.
-
I’d have Tuchel ahead of Conte and (sorry) Rodgers ahead of Rafa. Ranieri is a weird one; he’s won the league but I’d much rather have Viera or Frank. Would put Hassenhuttl considerably higher too.
-
Controversial opinion, but he offers more than Longstaff. Still needs replacing, like.
-
He’s not great iirc. Was frozen out by a 40 year old Pepe Reina, got called back into the squad and scored a comical own goal, from what I remember.
-
There’s no chance? Sorry but that’s bordering on delusional.
-
Don’t see how anyone can be less than a 5 at this point. We have 5 points after a third of the season’s games played. We don’t know the effect Howe or new signings will have but it will have to be significant; we have to win the equivalent of 1 in every 3 matches from now until the end of the season to stay up.
-
That would be a very good appointment.

At least with Bruce we had a motivated ASM.
