The problem with signing crouch is that we know what we're getting, it's not exactly an inspirational indication of a club moving forwards, nor is it taking a calculated risk on an highly-rated youtube-tastic foreigner (which is always uber exciting imo). Basically its just boring, id much prefer we signed a player like gomis despite the fact that i've seen him play only a handful of games.
