Who would Miley start over in that formation?

I like Willock, but I feel he has 3 games now to save his Newcastle career. At his best he’s an erratic and speedy ball-carrying threat who gets into good goal scoring positions. At his worst though he’s far too clumsy in possession and very tactically naive. If we can somehow replace him with Ramsey and make a PSR profit; that’d be too good to turn down. Personally speaking, I’m rooting for the guy.

I quite like it tbh The ”howay the lads” is a bit corny but I don’t find it as offensively shit as others seem to.

Meh. He’s tidy, clever and good in tight spaces but I’m not really sure he’s got the physicality or speed to work as a top winger in the prem. Lot of player for 25m though. Would be a decent bit of business and saves some money for other positions.

Thiaw is decent to very good on his day but makes too many mistakes imo. Guehi is easily the better player and only a year or two older; the difference in ability would be reflected in the price, so it would depend on how we want to spread our budget. What I love about Diomande is that he’s a physical beast who can play a bit too. Suffers from massive concentration issues and makes really dumb decisions sometimes but he’s the youngest of the 3 with perhaps the biggest upside. Would be a gamble considering they’d certainly ask for over 40m though. If Guehi’s going for less than 45m then it’s a no brainer for me.
