  1. Similar mobility to Bruno; We’ve got enough able runners and physicality in the team, we lack creativity and technical ability in the middle at times. Think he’d be a great signing, personally.
  2. My guess is it’s Villa or Liverpool though.
  3. Yes please. Although him twerking for Barca every window will get tiresome fairly quickly.
  4. Hate to be a doom and gloom merchant but if we have no champs league next year then we might have to sell (especially if Bruno’s sees that we’re not making any massive progress). There aren’t many teams in world football that can reject 100m offers or indeed players that would reject lucrative/ glamorous moves to either Barca or Madrid.
  5. Feels a bit of a dead rubber, this one. Hopefully the players don’t treat it as such and we end the season with a good performance.

    Scott McTominay

Probably take him for that. What do you think of him?

    Scott McTominay

No way they’re getting 40m for him .
  8. It’s weird that he’s been played as a 6; can’t think of a position he’s less suited to, just accentuates all of weaknesses as a player. I think he’d actually make a fairly solid striker considering his attributes. We’ve been linked for ages so I think this is a goer and -as I said- so long as he’s cheap he’d be a fine, if very underwhelming, signing for us.
  9. He hits the ball so well, is very good physically and is someone that Howe can definitely get the best out of. In saying that, unless it’s under 25m, we should be looking at a higher calibre of player, really. We may not be in the CL again after next season so now is our chance to attract that next-tier talent; we could have attracted McTominay pre-takeover.
  10. My guess is Barca (based on nothing) or possibly Arsenal.
  11. Man United fans talk about him like he’s already theirs. They already have Lisandro, Varane and Lindelof- greedy twats. Would love him here tbh.
  12. Agreed. I’d even go so far as to say he’s not very good.
  13. He stayed silent while I was rattling on about Emaar and my inane FFP ramblings ffs . Unbelievable.
  14. All my ITK stuff has been woefully wrong so I stopped bothering . Regarding Sela, they’re under The General Entertainment Authority and Ministry of Sport so perhaps not technically under PIF but it is, like. Anything associated to Vision 2030 is obviously headed by the Saudi State/PIF. edit: actually it is definitely and publically owned by PIF. Ignore the last paragraph.
  15. Re: Sela, I’m best friends with their CEO ffs and he watched the Leicester game with me. How on Earth did he keep that quiet, the bastard . Definitely PIF owned btw.
  16. Hope we’re in for Pavard this summer. Feel like he’s a super underrated cb and is an equally good Rb to boot.
  17. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable assumption tbf. At least half of the PL teams will spend 100m+ this summer you’d imagine, with the top 8 (and Chelsea) probably spending over 150m. We almost have to spend that much if we want to retain our seat at the big table imo.
  18. Not necessarily, Tierney is very good defensively so could dependably sit back if required. He’s obviously more of a threat offensively (with his pace and delivery) than Burn too.
  19. Keep banging this drum but besides the shit logo, Castore haven’t released a bad kit for us. Quality seems pretty decent as well.
  20. Nah, might be a mental thing but he looks a yard slower and seems to have lost that fearless style of play that made him so exciting to watch. Hope it’s a blip though, was -and hopefully still is- such a talent.
  21. I’d have to see him in the PL first. Bundesliga tax and all that. A fit maxi would better those numbers over there imo, although there’s no way I can prove that
