Club need to actively looking elsewhere now, he’s underperforming in our most important competition , unacceptable with the resources he’s had
-
Can’t wait for the credit in the bank patta, the latest football buzz word. It’s the fuckin predictability that’s annoying me tbh. It’s not good enough, a year of being shite on the road and still haven’t barely played anyone decent away this season

Let’s be honest we’re fuckin shite and it’s inexcusable with the money that’s spent on it -

This is fuckin pitiful, not a lick of intensity we’re capable of. Against a team with about 7 1st team players out too -
Garnacho on Ramsey
-
I’m sure one of our players got a challenge like that done to them today
-
We needed an upgrade on Miggy and somehow came away worse.

Woltemade chance before half time would have killed the game. -
“Attack is the best form of defence” This is a good watch.

Mid Season reflection - Where do we go from here?
JoeyBartoon replied to Newcastle Fan's topic in Football
Personally, I don’t see it as their heads being turned. Players like Tino and Tonali should be looking to move on if we can’t offer Champions League football — they’re too good not to be playing at the highest level in Europe. I don’t buy this “transitional season” stuff either. It seems to be getting thrown around more often these days. For me, it’s just another buzzword fans of every club use when their team is playing badly. We’ve been shite, end of. -
Howe is far too loyal to him. He’s one of the players who should be moved on in the summer — he offers very little and is effectively just a runner. Once he starts to lose his pace, his career at the top level may as well be over.
-
He should be under pressure. He’s had a full calendar year to address the dismal away form and performances, and there’s been little improvement. Personally, I don’t want him gone, but my frustration is growing. There’s far too much loyalty being shown to players who are clearly out of form (Gordon, for example), and he seems too stubborn to move away from the 4–3–3 when it’s clearly not working.
-
I haven’t seen any evidence to suggest that he has another system to cope with all the games. It’s clear he’s trying to evolve the team by focusing on being better with the ball, but right now, too many players just aren’t suited to that style.
-
Should be doing no worse than Villa imo, they play twice a week n all that
-
Elanga is his Jordan Ibe at Newcastle.
-
Is miggy available?
-
Tweak it? He’s needs to fuckin scrap it. The wide players are fuckin guff and are integral to that set up.
-
Far too many think Howe can do no wrong. Fuckin Villa playing twice a week and in potential title challenge. Setting us up like we’re playing Madrid away while having far better squad and players.
-
Cunts should be made to walk home. Howe can fuck off
-
Spineless display and set up for a smash and grab while having a 600m squad. Unforgivable imo
-
Don’t let Howe anywhere near the transfer kitty
-
Howe fannied it again.
-
There’s definitely a sense of frustration among the fans right now with both the current approach and the in-game decisions. We all know Eddie will stick with his methods, but sitting back just isn’t our strength. And the long throws are a mess as well — no idea what’s going on there, they’re barely even reaching the six-yard box.

mackems vs. Newcastle United: 14/12/25 @ 14:00 (Sky Sports)

If we have a go I think we’ll win this. Keep trying to think we can sit back and defend the 6 yard box we’ll likely lose. -
Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 Newcastle United (10/12/25) | post-match from pg. 61

Fair point, but I think people are just sick of us sitting back on the edge of the 18-yard box. We can’t even defend the 6-yard box properly and the keeper is a flapper. It’s all far too predictable at the moment.
