  1. He’s never gonna change style or tactics so the same things are gonna happen for the rest of the season. The midfield 3 issue continues to haunt this team unfortunately
  2. The football club want to adding to be adding a few extra million now after those Ratcliffe quotes. Perhaps the Monaco resident can use some of the money he’s saved up over the last few years to pay for Ashworth.
  3. Money won’t make any difference to the club, got to hope the club just make him sit it out, letting him start a gig there will only benefit them over the summer
  4. Poor by Howe again, keep persisting on playing Burn the same things are gonna happen.
  5. All on Howe. Nothing learnt from Forest game. Burn horrific, midfield 3 can’t recover quick enough and now 7 goals shipped against Luton and Forest. Massive issues
  6. Loyalty will cost Howe. Burn should be nowhere near the team with Livramento available.
  7. Midfield all over the place during recovery runs and Burn being constantly targeted. Poor and has shades of the Boxing Day game against forest
  8. Unless there’s a change of system I find it astonishing that Burn is starting tonight at left back
  9. I’ll be concerned if the form continues when there’s only 1 game a week, however I’m convinced things will start to turn around once we get through all these games and there’s a bigger gaps between games for players to rest. Considering there’s been a game every 3-5 days I do think Howe has been pretty naive in expecting the same players to execute the high-risk tactical strategy with fatigued players. It reminds me so much of what Bielsa did at Leeds, and we know how that ended. He’s been dealt an awful card re injuries etc but he probably needed to come up with a different approach for the amount of games there has been. The Liverpool game will be brutal if he adopts the same strategy. Personally, I’d like to see keep it tight and just frustrate them. That said, I’m desperate for Howe to learn from it. He’s been wonderful for this club and I actually enjoy watching the games now. He’s been a massive success and is quite easily the best english manager around. I’m hoping everyone can get behind him but admit it that will test a lot of people if we don’t win at the mackems
  10. You just can’t rely on Isak and Wilson to stay fit throughout a season. Shame really because they’re both class
  11. Proud of the effort over the 6 games. Poor decisions costs us and you just can’t get away with it at this level. Disappointing but hopefully something to learn from going forward.
  12. I thought I was decent but then realised I have an attic full of junior 5-side trophies thanks to Peter Ramage ?. He was rapid and played up top, we’d basically all just watch him do everything by himself. As you can imagine, the trophies dried up when he moved on ?
  13. Coaches who shout at kids are ridiculous. I mean I bet they don’t shout at their kids when they’re learning to read. I also don’t understand the coaches who are standing on the sidelines telling players what to constantly do, they may as well have a Xbox controller in their hands. I always just let the kids play, self-reflect after games and ask questions which requires some thinking. The why, what and when questions always helped with opening discussions on games.
  14. 9 years I’ve been waiting for a return to St. James. Tickets bought and full of excitement for Sunday, only to get a positive covid test this morning ffs. My ticketless friend is obviously delighted haha!
  15. Never post on here but have enjoyed reading the threads over the years. Some excellent patta and always a place where fans have shared the frustrations of what the club has become under Ashley. Never been to a game since the home win against QPR on 22nd Dec, 2012. Despite winning, I left that game frustrated and generally sick of the way the club wasn’t trying to reach its full potential. Personally, I think it was because I wasn’t enjoying it and hearing the Pardew PR spin every week was draining the life out of me. I vowed never to return till Ashley was gone. I’ve been up and down all night, constantly checking my phone every time to see if there’s anymore news. Like everyone, I just want the Ashley nightmare to end. Anyway, Spurs tickets bought last night, St James’ for the first time in 9 years, can’t wait. Delighted for everyone, the dark clouds have nearly lifted and the 14 year neglect and this wonderful club is over. Roll on the good times
  16. 8 wins in 41 games (all comps) in 2015. Let that sink in. Shocking
  17. Very poor yet not one bit surprised. Although I understand the way we are setting up I find it so frustrating. We were up against a team who hadn't won in 4! Just have a go! The back four now just sit on the 18 yard line and hardly move all game. We desperately need replacements for colo and Dummett, their lack of pace is frightening for this level and is ultimately forcing us to set up like this. Dummett in particular turns like a milk float. Basically no pace at the back, zero creativity in centre mid and lack of experience up top. January is gonna be a big month. Unless we find players who can help us change this awful style then I imagine we will be scrapping it out with Bournemouth, Norwich and the mackems for those final two relegation places.
  18. Answering questions on twitter. #PardsVsTwitter
  19. Don't even vote at the general election yet felt I needed to contribute here. Fuck you pardew
  20. Got to laugh at the Pardew logic. Sitting back despite them not having Bony, Michu and Britton etc. Last night wasn't unlucky, it was predictable and always going to happen at some point. I can accept sitting back against teams who are stronger than us but against Swansea and their depleted squad. Unacceptable.

We should be winning these games, end of. They were bottom on one point for a reason. IMO we deserved nothing and it was a shambles from start to finish. No fight, passion, desire nothing. You have to earn it from the start but this sadly wasn't evident. Mind its hardly surprising that we are seeing these types of performances considering the drivel pardew has come out over the last 18 months. Moaning about playing in Europe, not wanting to focus on the cups etc. Little by little he has lowered expectations, no wonder we have been so inconsistent. I think most would agree that they would struggle for motivation to play under fraud. It's time people started making their feeling known towards him at the games. He doesn't care about us and this proud football club. He doesn't care about winning trophies or challenging to get into Europe. He's just there to be a salesman for Ashley, to lower expectation and try makes us feel grateful for premiership football. Pathetic that there's a minority of fans who can't see that.

I still can't believe he doesn't get any heat at games. I'm sick of all this "well you do know kinnear will take over" shit. So what. They're both awful managers, could it really get any worse than it's been. It's like some of the fans are in fear of him leaving because if the kinnear threat. Pathetic. The fraud should be getting heat on Wednesday.
