This is the silver lining. Except of course if we keep a clean sheet today. -

Fuuuuuuck. Perch better be the same player he was last year. Happy to see Taylor ahead of Williamson and thrilled Ben Arfa is playing. -

I don't want to go to bed. So excited. -
Can you follow Arsenal anyway even though they are part of the top 4? Think they will be closer to 5th/6th than 3rd.
-
It's not, but it's funny compared to who they were linking themselves with and it's so predictable from Marty.
-
This thread is gonna suck if he doesn't score in the first 2-3 games. Ba's will be even worse.
-
I've said this before when his name has come up, but I'd jizz oldtype style if we signed Johnson.
-
That picture is awesome. Hope he plays on Saturday.

Another cracking article, denigrating John Terry this time - fast becoming my favourite football journalist. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/1134326/norm-hubbard:-time-for-john-terry-to-step-out-of-chelsea-spotlight?cc=5739 Good stuff.

It'd be incredible. Don't worry - it's coming. NJ is about to blow shit up.

Exactly why i'm happy about it, with RVP and Song seemingly leaving Arsenal are back to square one and Spurs have lost Modric and Adebayor for different reasons. Even Chelsea are quite frankly a very unpredictable team, it could go insanely well for them who they could f*ck up like last year. The race for 4th i see becoming very competitive. Newcastle won't be involved in it, unfortunately. Certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

40m and they turned that down last summer, face it Levy got wrecked. Only because they got screwed out of the CL. Otherwise keeping him for a year to get there would have made the lesser fee well worth it.
-
Gave up on the quotes, eh?
-
And because there's a good chance Senegal won't qualify. And because we have the personnel to play with only one of Ba or Cisse if one got injured. And because of a man named Shola.
-
This international date is the worst one of all. It is completely pointless. Even more so in WC and Euro/Olympic years.
-
I'm excited for Saturday for a lot of reasons, but I think the thing I'm most excited about is watching this man play for 90 minutes.
-
Disagree entirely. 6 and 6 in limited time is impressive. Think he'd be quite prolific with more playing time.

Could be worse. -
Oldtype goes fucking mental.

Wasn't it on Gol? I don't have that channel so am out of La Loop I'm sure ESPN was going on and on about having La Liga and Barca v Real. Then they never showed the s***. ESPN2 showed a number of La Liga games last year and there was quite a bit on ESPN3.

That website someone posted with the very detailed Europa League breakdown had us as the last team in Pot 3 assuming that all seeded teams win EL qualifiers and unseeded teams lose CL qualifiers. I doubt all the seeded teams will win in EL and I'm guessing it's possible that some of the unseeded CL teams are ranked ahead of us anyway, so seems kind of unlikely we'd end up in Pot 4. Either way, should be a decent group. All assuming we advance.
