I wish I didn't need money. I'd love to work for NUFC.
-
Maybe we'll double down on our human rights issues with Palantir.
-
Typical for this season that one of our important players is about to play 120 minutes and nearly 90 minutes with 10 men.
-
Sounds familiar.
-
We’ve got at least 10 min left here. That’s about Wissa’s limit.
-
Wissa could flip the entire narrative. He probably won’t.
-
Best corner by far.
-
Barnes has been dreadful.
-
Joking with that corner
-
Elanga has been better than Barnes for at least a few games now.
-
The set pieces are infuriating.
-
“So good” feels a bit much. He’s grown into the game, but he’s given it away a few times and they’ve had so much space in the middle.
-
Any of Bruno / Tonali / Miley would be a big help in the midfield. Annoying.
-
5 corners and a free kick that may as well have not happened. Poor set pieces today.
-
That’s because Hall is everywhere. I was just thinking how often he gets Barnes out of trouble.
-
They are almost shocked at how much space they are turning into in the midfield.
-
Elanga needs to do better there.
-
The long throw game is so dull.
-
Ramsey very sloppy so far. Guessing nerves.
-
Because this bizarre rule only applies to the extra place being earned by league performance. It does not apply to the regular places.
-
Would be if Villa and Liverpool finish 5th and 6th and win both cups I guess?
-
He is adamant that it is but only in the event that Villa finish 5th because of how the extra place rules work. This would not be the case if Villa finish 4th.
-
He was genuinely good in the Man United game. And I do feel like he's been coming off his line a bit more / a bit quicker. But he's never going to be a keeper that can rescue us and he's a completely liability on set pieces, corners, and crosses.

"In the first half, we played too directly in attack. We lost a lot of balls. They were very fast and very effective on the counter-attack. We talked about controlling the game in the second half and playing better in the low block." - Flick Worth calling out that the opponent made some changes. As always, there are two sides involved.

The transparent punishments and not needing to count interest payments are the two things that make the most sense to me. The former is a big deal. I think June 2024 would have had a lot less panic in a system like this. I think part of why we've been so cautious with the rules is the fact we'd almost certainly be made an example of.
