  1. This is just pathetic. I’ll be very disappointed if he doesn’t make changes at HT.
  2. We have no idea what to do with the ball in attack.
  3. Bit bored so I put St Pauli - Köln on. Friday night at Millerntor looks absolutely bonkers. Anyone been?
  4. The winner of the english tie wins it. I have a soft spot for Forest. My norwegian cousins are die hard Forest fans and go to the City Ground multiple times every year since the early nineties. Boy have they suffered. I’d like to see Anderson have a hand in winning it for them. Went to the City Ground for my second time seeing NUFC in the league cup under Benitez. We lost 3-1 but a really nice stadium to visit. I’m a bit drunk.
  5. The Forest mod physio is one of my favourite guys.
  6. So conflicted on this. Want nothing more than Howe to succeed here but feels like he’s losing his grasp. Coincides with a general trend in football with the manager’s role shrinking a bit and usually reduced to head coach. Clubs generally seem to be run by committees these days rather than managers. Look at Brentford for instance. Every time a manager leaves they improve at every turn. Chelsea seem to try the same with uhh differing results. It all just seems a lot more complicated these days. Kompany to Bayern seemed bonkers at the time. Not at all right now. Liverpool knocked it out of the park with Slot winning the league on first try. Doesn’t quite look like that at present. It also seems really difficult for managers to stay relevant for more than 10 years in modern football. In general the big clubs seem to be pivoting to the kind of Brentford setup where who’s the head coach doesn’t really make a huge difference. I’m pretty sure Howe isn’t made for that landscape.
  7. This is peak football. What a privilege.
  8. What a match of football.
  9. God I love watching Griezmann play.
  10. Great to see Miley again. Very strong bench. Maybe Gordon and Osula can interchange a bit, create some fluidity up front.
  11. Cherki is a bit of a ding dong isn’t he
  12. Oh dear. Cue in the guy who thinks Trafford is trash.
  13. Tempting to put a bit of money on City winning the league now.
  14. The quality is all there, can see it in his first touch. But you’re right with his decision making, when he gets that right he’ll be unbelievable.
  15. Wirtz is so, so good.
  16. L’ancien attaquant.

    FIFA World Cup

Howay lads. I’ve seen my country just once at the WC. Odds on I’ll never see us there again. Still like a little kid at christmas each time.
  18. I’m getting Polish goal updates from my neighbour who goes absolutely hog wild when they score. Legend.
  19. Maybe I kind of like Ladislav Krejci.

    Is he playing up top?
  21. If we get a decent fee for him I'm not too fussed. These things are bound to happen and he really hasn't been great this season. It's also possible to look at things this way; if we get a big fee for him it really hammers home Howe's player development ability. He more than doubled Isak's value and could turn a really nice profit on Tonali. He's probably also doubled Bruno's value and increased Gordon's even if his fee was very high (a lot of people laughed at that initially). Needless to say what he's done for Joelinton, Murphy, Schar et al. I think the concept of player development is a bit underrated. Players carreer trajectories aren't predetermined destiny. Under Howe the club is really building a reputation for player development which not only turns a penny into a pound but significantly helps us in the transfer market. Players and their agents know this is a place to make proper strides forward in their carreers which should give us an advantage. Well that's enough optimism for the day. Back to the moping grindstone.
