I beg to differ. Man United had him too bulked up and immobile and Inter got the best out of him by making him more lean and utilising him correctly. Serie A is very much a good, competitive league with some fairly solid teams and defences and aside from the top 2/3 clubs is very much like the PL.

My partners family support Inter on her Dad's side and I watched them a little bit over the last year or two. I've become somewhat of a fan of Lukaku and if we were to sign him I think that'd be a fantastic move. I rate Wilson really highly but he is never fit, and I feel Lukaku is the type of striker we currently need, as he's similar to Wilson in that he's a powerhouse. Dare I say it, you'd need to spend about £50m minimum for him like, I'm guessing.

Nar, just think I've heard and read a whole multitude of comments where they say "This dickhead... " such and such or "That bastard" this and that. Just find it a bit unnecessary like, we've got a likeable team with likeable players who've applied themselves and just aren't good enough. Probably just people venting like...

There seems to be a lot of unwarranted anger from our own fans for our players like. Just a general observation.

Poor Greg, he's getting some stick on here. I trust him to sort the pledge stuff out like along with Thomas. They're both very good people.

That's weird like. Don't see why it matters what people are.

Aye, I actually think if they did the ceiling Black with White writing too. There's a. Whole host of things. I'd change the tunnel and all the outside bit on the South West corner too

Looks so much cleaner/more appropriate. Still think they could smarten it all up like a hell of a lot.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying anyone with an ounce of sense knows that, that would be the outcome of posting something along those lines on a public domain. Sunderland has weirdos full stop. Everywhere.
-
Because these fans have been elevated above 'normal' fans. Which is some of my point.

It's just incredibly naive mate. If you make the suggestion publicly that you're gonna masturbate then you're gonna be called these things. It's common sense. There absolutely has to be the same level of weirdos with Man United et all too. They have a lot more supporters globally.

Was just having a pint at the station in Killy. Yep. He was. 100%.

I hate our Twitter me. I hate Twitter in general, it seems like a form of heroin, people are hooked on it for odd bits of comfort and entertainment but it by and large has a massive come down that when you come away from reading it you feel shit. TBH it's absolutely full of those characters who are all of a sudden some sort of celebrity fan because they're on a podcast or fanzine or flashing a bit of cleavage or thigh. There are dozens and dozens of women who follow the Toon and have very good, solid opinions on football but some of the lasses on their just play into the hands of stereotypes, etc. So naive as well. Thousands of followers, yeah that's not cause you give such an extensive tactical analysis of the football is it? That Kendall Rowan proper spat her dummy out with me near takeover/Bruce being sacked. Tried to patronise me with some stupid term saying the more she said it on Twitter the more likely was that it'd be true. I was just like "eh? How?" then she seemed to think I hsd some problem with women or some other shit. Never known owt like it. Seen one of the 'popular' lasses accounts complaining a while back that they were getting called a slag etc. Too Because they'd mentioned their new sex toys on Twitter. Do they not think if a gadgy said he had his dick in hand as he typed he'd not be called a pervert too? Like dont get me wrong there's loads of proper weird pervy fellas and that too. Just cause they like their tweets they seem to think they're gonna get laid... But the whole thing is just properly strange. Then you have this kid who was basically stalking players, everyone who has the culty love for the Wraith element of our fanbase and then a whole multitude of fanzines and podcasts. I might just be old fashioned like but as much as a lot of these folk are absolutely sound, I don't really give a fuck what they think. Their opinions on NUFC aren't any higher than anyone on here and/or any of my mates and nor is mine. Just so, so incredibly peculiar that people give these folk some sort of pedestal that they elevate them onto. However, I do think we're not alone like. Law of averages isn't it. We have a bigger following than Wolves, and every club will have their fair share of social media 'celebrity' fans and/or weirdos #Rant

They're right to try and liaise with the club (and subsequently the relevant organisations) to be fair like. Think we have to be reasonable about what we complain about

We have some plans to 'dress' the stadium with flags over all exits, a olan for one along the corner and discussions need to be had regarding others aroubd the stadium. Great idea I think. perhaps over the summer there'll be mass change though so we may need to had our horses -
See it's funny, I probably like Arsenal, Fulham and Palace the most from the London clubs but their fans (Arsenal and Fulham's) are the polar opposite of West Ham, nee bite and utter shite

That was a separate group whom we had some dealings with but not much. They didn't run that group the same we as we have and it didn't really take off. Ideally, the whole stadium would be flags galore, but what we really want is a culture where all fans do their bit, and then we just occasionally do 'the message' or something different. With Ashley, covid, bairns, and new work commitments the group is a bit thin at present and hence the attempts to get more fans doing there own individual piece -

No you're right, there are more flags, some need polling up and a lot probably need cleaning. However, there's only enough to bulk out the Gallowgate in terms of what we call 'wavers' at present. We're trying to get it so that the Gallowgate is as 'dense' as possible without losing the capability to actually wave the flag. By people taking scarves this hopefully helps pad it out. We have one or two issues at the moment and could do with some good weather and time to put things right, it's been pretty much non stop since the takeover. Once we reorganise and regroup we might be able to extend outwards with surfer flags as well as wavers -

In what sense do you mean? Single wavers or just on the whole, surfers, wavers, etc.? -
Ner, like I think moving their stadium was fairly shite but at the same time will probably allow them to grow. Don't know much about Sullivan and Gold other than that. When I think of West Ham though, I think of a half decent youth set up, fairly attacking football and a passionate fan base. I just think their fans fancy themselves as football hooligans the most out of the Premier League clubs and generally sing shit songs.
